In this explorative mobile game, Evony: The King’s Return, players can build an empire from scratch.
There is an array of activities that you can enjoy, including harvesting resources, defeating enemies, and discovering Runes. Players can also enjoy in-game events occasionally, such as Lost Treasures.
What is the objective of in-game events?
During an in-game event, you can encounter Evony in a new, thrilling way for a limited time. These occasional activities often motivate players to play a game that they may have been neglecting for some time previously.
When an event is active, you have to complete specific tasks to earn valuable rewards. Sometimes, the rewards that you can get in an event can only be acquired from that specific event.
Developers occasionally host events with themes that correspond to real-life events such as Halloween or Christmas. However, Evony generally creates its own themes for its in-game events.
Evony: Lost Treasures
During the Lost Treasures event, players can consume Golden Compasses to search for treasures. There is a total of 16 treasure searching rounds and each round features 1 Treasure, 1 Legendary Explorer’s Journal, and 23 regular rewards.
If you want to participate in a treasure searching round, you have to select a treasure. Treasures are divided into 10 levels, and you have to procure all the Treasures of a level to unlock the next level.
The quantity of Golden Compasses consumed on each Treasure increases with the Treasure Level.
After a round begins, 25 rewards are randomly hidden in 5 unique scenes, each of which has 5 searching chances. You can choose a scene from which to consume Golden Compasses to search for a Treasure. The round will conclude after you have found the Treasure.
If the Legendary Explorer’s Journal is found, your remaining search chances in that round will no longer use Golden Compasses. When you have completed round 16, you will get the ultimate reward; the Syriacus City Castle Decoration.
You can obtain up to 10 Golden Compasses by defeating monsters and harvesting resources daily. If you did not use all of your Golden Compasses during the event, you can disassemble them to receive rare items.
Keep in mind that you have to disassemble your Golden Compasses within 3 days after the event concludes, otherwise they will disappear.
In addition to searching for treasures, you can enjoy the Lost Treasure Chest activity. This mysterious chest was lost in history, but you can open it to get rare items.
Lost Treasure Chest
In the Lost Treasures event menu, there are 2 tabs, one of which is the Lost Treasure Chest category. In this menu, you can open mysterious chests to get rewards. Players can purchase limited packages to obtain a small number of Lost Treasures Chests.
When you have collected all of the treasures in Treasure Searching to unlock the compose feature, A Golden Compasses can be composed to a Lost Treasure Chest.
If you do not get the Undead Legions March Effect after opening 279 chests for the first time, this march effect is guaranteed in the next chest opening.
How to select a treasure
In the Treasure Searching menu in Evony, you will find an open box and if you click on it, you will be able to select a treasure. Keep in mind that you have to complete a level in order to select the following level’s treasure.
This means that not all levels’ treasures will be unlocked. Moreover, the higher the treasure’s level is, the more Golden Compasses you are going to need.
Once you have selected a treasure, you will not be able to change it, so you should consider which treasure you want to select carefully.
After selecting a treasure, you can choose one of the scenes and start looking for treasures.
How to search for a treasure
When you have selected any of the available treasures, you can choose one of the available scenes to search for treasures in. Although you can choose any scene, you should begin at the top of the list and work your way down.
If you click on the first scene, there is a possibility that you will get the treasure that you select. After obtaining a treasure, the treasure count for that scene will be reduced. You have to search for treasures until the treasure amounts have been reduced to zero.
Bear in mind that you may have to spend a lot of Golden Compasses before you get your selected reward. However, you may receive randomly-selected rewards while searching for treasures.
