Evony: Nian

During Evony’s Romantic Spring Festival players can enjoy the Nian event, which requires you to defeat Nian bosses.

There are various bosses and monsters you can encounter on the world map while progressing through Evony: The King’s Return.

The normal monsters and bosses spawn on a regular basis, however when a special event is active, you can find event monsters.

Event monsters will only spawn on the world map when the event is active. This essentially means that when the event concludes, the event bosses will be removed from the game.

During the Spring Festival event, players can find Nian monsters on the world map.

Keep in mind though that these monsters are quite rare, which means that their spawn rate is low even when the event is active. Since they are so rare, they have a high prestige reward versus other monsters.

This essentially means that you should attempt to defeat as many Nians as possible while the Spring Festival event is active.

When you find a Nian on the map, you can click on it to view your winning odds, which considers your troop power and General level. If your chances are extremely low, we recommend that you do not attack the boss as you will lose the battle.

However, if your odds are high, you can vanquish the event boss and claim very valuable rewards.

Nian Rewards

It is important to note that the rewards you will receive depends on the level of the Nian you defeated. The table below lists the rewards you can earn:

Nian power

As seen in the table above, you will receive the most rewards for defeating a level 5 Nian boss on the world map. Players should remember however that the boss’ power increases with its level:

Romantic Spring Festival

The Romantic Spring Festival consists of several small events that require Evony players to complete unique objectives.

One of the small events you can enjoy is Nian Event, which as the name suggests, requires you to defeat Nian monsters.

You therefore have to defeat as many Nians as possible before the event concludes on Monday, 19 February 2024.
