During the Tale of Princess Kaguya event in Evony, players can acquire Princess Kaguya, who is an Epic, Historic General with amazing abilities.
Evony: The King’s Return is an adventurous and tactical mobile game that invites players to assume the role of a lord or lady. Because the mobile game is based on the well-renowned video game, Evony, you will likely experience similar gameplay and content in both versions.
The objective of this game is to build your own kingdom up from the ground during medieval times. There is a variety of activities and occasional events you can participate in, however, you have to acquire some Generals before you can do this.
There are currently more than 20 Generals for players to procure, but you should keep in mind that some Generals perform better than others, depending on their skills and rarity.
What is a General?
A General can be considered your empire’s leader. They have the ability to lead and control your troops while they are marching outside your keep. Every time you send your troops to gather resources, or to attack enemies, a General accompanies them.
You can also assign a General as the Mayor of a Subordinate City, in which case they do not travel with troops. Instead, they provide your keep and the Sub City they are mayor of with benefits. Furthermore, you can allocate a certain General on your wall to protect your keep from potential incoming attacks.
Evony: Princess Kaguya
The King’s Return’s developer, Evony, occasionally introduces new activities, Generals, and features to the game to keep players engaged. They recently announced that a new Epic, Historic General will be added to the game.
Princess Kaguya, the Princess from the Moon in the oldest Japanese monogatari, arrives at the land of Evony. To welcome her, the developers planned a special celebration called the Tale of Princess Kaguya event, which commenced on 5 July 2022.
Princess Kaguya, like other Generals, possesses a special skill. Her Princess from the Moon skill increases ranged troops’ attack by 35 percent and increases ranged troops and siege machines’ health by 30 percent. However, for this skill to activate, Princess Kaguya must be leading the army.
This skill’s star ranking increases as Princess Kaguya gains experience points and ascension levels. The table below highlights the different effects that each star ranking has:

| 1 | Marching ranged troop and siege machine defence is increased by 15 percent. Moreover, their health is increased by 10 percent. |
| 2 | Enemy in-city troops wounded in the death rate is increased by 10 percent. |
| 3 | The march size capacity is increased by 14 percent. |
| 4 | Marching ranged troop attack is increased by 10 percent, and marching ranged troop and siege machine’s health is increased by 20 percent. |
| 5 | Marching ranged troop attack is increased by 15 percent, and marching ranged troop and siege machine defence is increased by 20 percent. |
How to procure Princess Kaguya
During this event, players can consume Moon Bamboos to open a bamboo tube, which gives you a chance to receive the Epic, Historic General, Princess Kaguya.
You can also procure up to 10 Moon Bamboos daily, 3 of which can be collected from resource spots, while the others can be looted from monsters.
That being said, you can also get Moon Bamboos from special packages. If you do not acquire Princess Kaguya after opening 279 Moon Bamboos for the first time, you are guaranteed to get her in the next opening.
Keep in mind that you do still have a chance to receive Princess Kaguya multiple times after the first 280 openings.
Princess Kaguya’s General speciality
Princess Kaguya specialises in certain features of the game, which are outlined in the table below. It is worth noting that these effects are at the maximum level. They are as follows:

Moon Treasures
During Evony‘s Tale of the Princess Kaguya event, players can acquire 5 kinds of Moon Treasure from resource locations and monsters. You can compose 3 items or receive a Celestial Clothing Box on different levels.
Players can open these boxes to get rich rewards. There is also a change to acquire a Golden Sparrow avatar from the Celestial Clothing Boxes.
