Some Evony players have revealed that they have encountered the Shooting Barrel Game when they select the Mysterious Puzzles icon.
Evony: The King’s Return is an adventurous video game which takes place in medieval times. As the lord or lady of a keep, you construct buildings, train troops, recruit Generals and destroy monsters.
Although it is not the main objective of the game, some players can participate in the Shooting Barrel Game.
Evony: Shooting Barrel Game
An Evony player recently revealed on the Reddit platform that his in-game puzzles have been replaced by Shooting Barrel Game. This game allegedly takes much longer to complete than Evony’s mysterious puzzles.
Redditor Bunny_Feet commented on the thread that she checked Evony and could not find the shooting barrel game anywhere. Allegedly, the shooting barrel game only appears in the new Evony servers.
If you are playing the game on an old server, it is quite unlikely that you will encounter it.
Players who are enjoying Evony on the newer servers can select the mysterious puzzle icon, which is in the bottom left corner of the main menu to find the shooting barrel game.
Keep in mind that there is a high possibility that you will find the regular mysterious puzzles which you have to complete instead of the Shooting Barrel Game.
Shooting Barrel Game objective
According to Redditor TheFotty, there have been a few instances that Evony has swapped different levels on varying servers. This means that you may never experience the Shooting Barrel Game.
However, when you encounter the Shooting Barrel Game in Evony, you have to collect stronger weapons as you shoot the oncoming barrels.
It is up to you to destroy the barrels before they reach your character. You will allegedly be rewarded for every level that you successfully complete.
Evony’s advertisements
Evony’s advertisements have caused a lot of controversy as the ads are not a true representation of what is happening in the game.
One Evony player revealed that he recently saw an advertisement for the game on YouTube, but the advertisement featured the Shooting Barrel Game instead of what actually happen in Evony.
This is not the first time that Evony’s advertisements are not a true reflection of the actual game. Another Evony advertisement requires that players solve a puzzle.
And although there are puzzles to solve in the game, it is not the main objective of Evony.
Should you play the Shooting Barrel Game?
It is worth remembering that the Shooting Barrel Game, just like the Mysterious Puzzles, has no influence on Evony’s main objective. That being said, you will earn rewards for completing levels and solving puzzles.
Several players do not invest time in the Shooting Barrel Game as they can procure the rewards elsewhere in the game.
It is advisable that you only play the Shooting Barrel Game for fun, as it will not help you progress in Evony.
