Evony players can obtain Valorous Medals by completing specific activities, but the more Medals you earn, the better your rewards are.
There are various items that players can obtain in Evony: The King’s Return, but keep in mind that every item has a specific purpose.
One of the items that you can procure in the game is ‘Valorous Medals,’ though not many players know what it is used for.
One of the regular events that you can enjoy in Evony is Historic City, however, at the time of writing, the event has already concluded.
If you missed this event, do not fret, as it will recur in the near future. When the event is active, you have to obtain Valorous Medals by completing specific tasks.
Monarchs can obtain Valorous Medals by being the Conqueror in the Server War and by placing in the top 5 players in the Server War’s personal ranking.
Additionally, you can earn Valorous Medals by gaining 1200 scores or more in a single round of Battle of Constantinople.
Players can also earn Valorous Medals by reaching a specific ranking in Single Time Damage list of the world boss event and purchasing Gems.
The number of Valorous Medals you earn determines your position on the Historic City leaderboard.
You will receive Historic City Key Fragments based on your ranking. This means that the higher your ranking is, the better the rewards are that you will receive.
Keep in mind that the ranking leaderboard updates every 5 minutes and resets on a daily basis. Players can get daily ranking rewards after the reset.
Ranking rewards
If you reach a certain position on the Historic City leaderboard, you will earn specific rewards. The following table lists the rewards you can earn:

Redeeming rewards
Although the event has concluded, players can now redeem rewards in the “Redeem” section of the Historic City event. Players can use Historic City Key Fragments to redeem rewards.

Monarchs should note that the period within which to redeem these rewards is only 2 days when the event concludes. If you do not redeem any rewards during this time, you will lose your Historic City Key Fragments.
Server War
As mentioned above, one of the ways to get Valorous Medals is participating in the Server War. This activity opens every 14 days, and every war will remain active for 2 days. Before the event starts, 2 Servers will be matched.
When the War begins, players whose Keeps are level 7 and higher can use a Server Teleporter to enter the enemy’s server. You have to kill foes and monsters on the world map to earn points.
However, you can also occupy the City of Throne and Temples on your opponent’s server to earn Server War Scores.
The server with the most points when the War concludes will win the event and be rewarded generously.
Keep in mind that the means by which you can obtain Valorous Medals are based on personal victories in the Server War and not on Server victories.
Battle of Constantinople
This activity opens once a week, but players have to sign up 1 day before the event begins. The Alliance’s R4s and R5s can sign up and select which Alliance Members will join them on the battlefield.
Every Alliance can have up to 20 members to participate in the event. Once the battle begins, you have to vanquish the opponent to earn scores.
The Alliance with the most points at the end of the battle will win the rewards. Keep in mind that this activity is only active for 2 hours at a time.
