Euphrosyne is the second wing of the Myths of the Realm Alliance raid in FFXIV, but you can only complete it in early 2023.
You are invited to explore the persistent world of Eorzea in this thrilling video game, Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV). Since the game is part of the classic Final Fantasy series, players are likely to come across similar gameplay, dynamics, and features in the franchise.
FFXIV offers players an array of activities, but you should primarily focus on the main story arc in the game. While you are advancing in FFXIV, you can collect resources, craft gear, obtain new weapons, defeat powerful foes, participate in raids, and learn new skills.
One of the raid series that you can complete is Myths of the Realm, which consists of different wings. The first wing, Aglaia, was introduced earlier in 2022. The game’s developer, Square Enix, recently announced the second wing, Euphrosyne.
Raids in FFXIV
Raids are an endgame-exclusive activity, as they feature great challenges, but they yield the strongest loot. Unlike trials or dungeons, current-tier raids have limitations on how much loot you can receive in a week.
These limitations are removed once the raid is old, which makes it easier to catch up on missing loot.
There are different raids to participate in, and each raid requires a certain number of players. Normal raids, Savage Raids, and Ultimate Raids require a party of 8 members to be completed, while Alliance Raids have to be completed by 24 players.
FFXIV: Euphrosyne
Square Enix recently revealed the details about patch 6.3, which is scheduled to launch early in 2023. Among other things, the patch stated that another wing will be added to the current Alliance Raid, Myths of the Realm.
The name of the wing is Euphrosyne, and like the initial wing, Aglaia, it is clear that all the wings are named after the 3 Graces of Greek mythology. It is alleged that the last wing of the trio will be named Thalia.
Naoki Yoshida, FFXIV’s creative director and lead producer, said that the team is now just beginning to balance the raid. Unfortunately, it is yet to be revealed which gods of the Twelve you will be facing in the next wing.
However, many players have guessed that Menphina, Halone, Althyk, and Nophica will be the next bosses in the new wing.
The rewards that you can earn for completing the raid are yet to be revealed. However, it is alleged that you can expect to get Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy, Allagan Tomestones of Causality, and Euphrosyne Coins.
If you are waiting for the release of the new wing in anticipation , you can still attempt to complete the initial wing, Aglaia to earn rewards. This wing pits the Warrior of Light against a few of the Twelve, which are the gods that underpin Eorzea’s culture.
How does rewards work in Euphrosyne?
Players can only receive 1 reward item in a week for completing objectives in Euphrosyne. In the event that you are awarded an item from the loot list, you give up your right to vie for all the remaining items, regardless of whether you selected Greed or Need.
The reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday, which means that you can only get loot weekly. Each member of the party will receive their own treasure chest. However, the contents of the chest will be identical, regardless of the route taken.
You cannot open a treasure chest that belongs to another member of your group.
Euphrosyne Coins
When you complete the raid, you will get Euphrosyne Coins, which you can exchange with Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han for items that can enhance equipment purchased with the Allagan Tomestone of Causality.
Regrettably, it is yet to be announced which items you can purchase from Nesvaaz with Euphrosyne Coins. It is advised that you check the official FFXIV website regularly as any news regarding the Euphrosyne Coins and the Euphrosyne raid will be published there.
However, players can expect similar items to those that are available for purchase in exchange for Aglaia Coins. With Aglaia Coins, you can purchase Radiant Roborant, Radiant Twine, and Radiant Coating.
How many players of each role are required to complete Euphrosyne?
Since Euphrosyne is a 24-player raid, it is recommended that the party contains 3 tanks, 6 healers, and 15 damage dealers. However, the raid leader cannot choose anyone to attempt to complete the raid. The level of the character has to be 90 and the item level should be 595.
The time limit for this raid is 2 hours, which means that your party has to complete the raid within 2 hours, otherwise the attempt will be unsuccessful.
