Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) is a well-renowned role-playing game that is set in the fictitious realm of Eorzea. Because it is part of the classic Final Fantasy series, FFXIV will have similar mechanics, regions, and gameplay to the other games.
In this open world, you can interact with other players and with the environment, as it is a massively multiplayer online game.
FFXIV’s developer, Square Enix, occasionally adds new content to the game. It recently added the Island Sanctuary, which contains various buildings. The workshop consists of different cycles, based on the current season.
Island Sanctuary in FFXIV
The Island functions as an independent part of FFXIV which enables you to collect materials to craft items and construct buildings. You can sell the items that you craft for special currencies; Seafarer’s Cowrie, and Island’s Cowrie.
Players can also use it as a social hub, as they can leave their island open for friends, party members, and free company members to visit.
Before you can enjoy this feature, you must complete the main story quest, Endwalker. If you are yet to complete it, you should focus on the main story arc to advance in the game.
Once you have completed the quest, you can talk to the Clueless Crier non-player-character to get the Seeking Sanctuary quest,. You have to complete a small chain of quests that will unlock the island.
FFXIV: Island Sanctuary workshop season 13
One of the buildings that you can construct in your Island is the Workshop, which provides a place for your mammets to create handicrafts with the materials that you collected from around your island. You should note that the Workshop functions on a supply and demand principle.
The supply and demand menu is in the top right corner of the isleworks agenda. This brings up what can be quite a daunting list of numbers, symbols, items, and data, but it can be easy to understand with some patience.
Players will notice that the supply and demand works in different cycles, which are determined by the current season.
The Island Sanctuary Workshop season 13 cycles for the week of 15 November 2022 until 21 November 2022 are as follows:

Bear in mind that you can also follow the Crime Time cycles. The Crime Time cycle allows players to log in once a week and collect more than 18 000 Cowries by just spending 5 minutes setting up the island for the next week.

To prepare, you have to set your Cropland and Pasture to the following, but make sure they are all under mammet automation:

- Silver Ore
- Raw Garnet
- Hammerhead
- Alyssum
- Spruce Log
How to make profit in the Crime Time cycle
Once you have the above recommendations, you should go to your FFXIV Island Sanctuary on Cycle 4, which is generally on a Friday. You can then gather your pasture and crop items before you craft 140 Greenfeed for the next week.
Next, you can gather Granary Items and change destination to the next location in the list. Keep in mind that you have to pay for the 7-day expedition.
You should note that cycles 5, 6, and 7 differ from the normal cycle. The table below outlines the cycle for Crime Time:

Once this is in place, you can talk to the workshop mammet, collect your cowries, and input cycle 5,6, and 7 recommendations for the current season. Players should make sure that cycles 1 to 3 are always set to rest.
What to do if you have more than 1 Workshop
If there is only 1 agenda listed, it is recommended that players run it in all 3 Workshops. Following this method will guarantee that you gain your profits with minimum work input.
However, if there are different agendas, you should allocate an agenda to each of your Workshops to ensure that you obtain the highest profit available.
