Minecraft is a sandbox video game where players explore a blocky, procedurally generated three-dimensional world with infinite terrain. Players may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools, and build structures or earthworks. The game modes include a Survival Mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health. In Creative Mode, players have unlimited resources and access to flight. Depending on the mode, players can also fight mobs, as well as cooperate with or compete with other players in the world.
In the game, players can discover multiple animals, such as donkeys, horses, chickens, cows and pigs, among others. Chickens, cows and pigs can be captured and bred in order to obtain multiple resources. While horses and donkeys can be used to get around the map quicker, they’re also able to breed, however, the player needs two tame animals before attempting the breeding process.
Before beginning the breeding process, players require certain resources. These resources include two golden apples or two golden carrots, and two horses. The golden items can be crafted using apples or carrots, and golden nuggets. Another option is buying the resources from vendors. If the player does not have horses, they will need to tame wild horses in order to breed.
The horses usually spawn in the Plains biome. However, if the player is having trouble finding horses, they can summon a horse by using a cheat code. Once the player finds a horse, they should mount the horse until it is successfully tamed. However, the horse might throw the player off multiple times before it is tamed. A saddle is not required to tame a horse.
Once the player has successfully tamed two horses, they can feed the golden apples or carrots to the two horses they want to breed. After eating the food, the horses will enter Love Mode, which will cause them to mate and produce a foal.
The foal will take approximately 20 in-game minutes to mature. However, this process can be accelerated by feeding it sugar, apples, carrots and wheat, among others.
