How to Use Fire Charge in Minecraft: A Comprehensive Guide
What are Fire Charges?
In Minecraft, a Fire Charge is an explosive item that can be thrown to set Mobs, Items, and Blocks on fire. It is a useful item to have in your arsenal, especially when trying to defeat Creatures, or in situations where you need to burn certain Blocks. But before we dive deeper into its uses, let’s find out how to use Fire Charges properly.
How to Use Fire Charge in Minecraft?
To use Fire Charge in Minecraft:
- First, craft a Fire Charge by combining Gunpowder and Flint in a crafting grid. This can be done on a workbench.
- Pick up the crafted Fire Charge and hold it in your hand. It will now be equipping your arm.
- Hold your arm outward and move the crosshair towards the target (mob, block, or item).
- Left-Click with the Fire Charge held in your hand to throw it. Aim carefully as it will bounce off a slight distance before hitting the ground and causing a fire effect.
Targeting Mobs:
When aiming for Mobs, aim for their body as much as possible, as hitting the head or specific weak points (such as the skull) is less effective. Note that throwing Fire Charges at Bows-wielding Mobs or those with large shields will increase the odds of the explosion not hitting or being partially deflected. Take this into account and adjust your attack accordingly.
Burning Items:
Fire Charges can be used to incinerate specific items or resources by aiming the charged flame at them directly. Certain Items and Tools can be instantly destroyed if struck by a direct hit of Fire Charges. Be aware that these may not completely destroy specific resources, such as gold or precious artifacts, depending on how much resistance the item or object has against the explosion.
Crafting with Blaze Powder:
Crafting Fire Charge does not require only Gunpowder and Flint as you previously did. You must have also found Blaze Rod first. Without Blaze Powder, there is little to do as you cannot craft this powerful item

A few pieces will be produced from gunpowder but there can’t be more if there were. You’d be right now. However, this material you can continue using while adding more blocks
