Isolytic Damage Officer List

The only officers who are able to deal Isolytic Damage in Star Trek Fleet Command are Kathryn, Enterprise-E Data, Enterprise-E Piccard and Nurse Chapel.

Update 65 of Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) introduced the Gorn Hunters, which are extremely powerful enemies immune to normal damage. Commanders therefore have to use Isolytic Damage to conquer these hostiles.

Isolytic Damage introduces a new form of damage which operates alongside standard damage rather than replacing it.

With every shot fired, this damage type is dealt in addition to the regular standard damage. Players should note that Isolytic Damage can be acquired in several ways, such as through Artifacts and Officers.

Unfortunately, there are only a few officers that can activate Isolytic Damage, however, we believe that Scopely will introduce additional Isolytic Damage Officers in the near future.

If you are interested in defeating the Gorn Hunters, we recommend that you use these officers:

Officer Description
Kathryn Janeway She became the First Starfleet captain to successfully transverse the Delta Quadrant. Subsequently, she became one of the most decorated and venerated Captains in Starfleet history.
Enterprise-E Data Data walks his path alongside people who love him and people who have his back. The crew of the Enterprise are Data’s friends and family.
Enterprise-E Picard Although he is still haunted by memories of assimilation by the Borg, Picard’s sense of adventure and his spirit of exploration remain as strong as ever.
Nurse Chapel She serves as a Nurse to Chief Medical Officer, Joseph M’Benga.

Officer abilities

These officers have amazing abilities that help them deal a great amount of Isolytic Damage. The following table lists their abilities and describes each one:

Officer Abilities
Kathryn Janeway Bend the Rules: At the start of combat, Kathryn Janeway increases your Isolytic Cascade damage by 10% against non-player Hostiles and Armadas.
Enterprise-E Data Saddle up. Lock and Load: It increases your Isolytic Cascade Damage by 10% versus non-Armada Hostiles.
Enterprise-E Picard We used to be Explorers: This ability increases Isolytic Cascade Damage by 3% for 3 rounds every time you hit a non-Armada hostile.
Nurse Chapel Protocol 12: At the start of a battle, she increases Isolytic Cascade damage by 5% vs non-Armada hostiles. At rank 5, she will increase the Isolytic Damage by 40%.

How to obtain Nurse Chapel

Nurse Chapel was introduced to STFC and since her release, several players have wondered how they can add her to their fleet. Unfortunately, the only way to  obtain her is by purchasing her with real money.

It can therefore be said that only players who are only willing to spend real money in STFC can obtain Nurse Chapel. Currently, it is uncertain whether Scopely will make Nurse Chape available for free-to-play players or not.

If you cannot obtain Nurse Chapel, do not fret – you can still use Janeway, Enterprise-E Data and Enterprise-E Piccard to defeat the Gorn foes.

Gorn Hunters

As previously mentioned, the Gorn Hunters are immune to conventional weapons and therefore, you have to use Isolytic Damage Officers to conquer them.

These enemies are extremely powerful and only the strongest Commanders will be able to vanquish them.

When deciding which vessel you want to use to attack them, we recommend that you do not use any Explorer ships. This is because the Gorn Hunters’ ability deals 50% additional damage to Explorers for 5 rounds.

The ship you decide to use against the Gorn does not have a great effect on the outcome of the battle. In theory, you can use any ship in your fleet to destroy them, but we recommend that you use the strongest ship in your fleet.

Gorn Hunter Location

Similar to other hostiles in STFC, the Gorn Hunters only spawn in specific systems, however, their exact location is unknown. Commanders therefore have to travel to these systems and explore the area until they encounter a Gorn Hunter.

Some of the systems in which you can find the Gorn Hunters are as follows:

Gorn Hunter level Systems

  • Jaicoo
  • Nerokira
  • Steria

Commanders should keep in mind that each of these systems have a warp range requirement. If your warp range is too low, you will not be able to travel to the systems to defeat the Gorn Hunters.
