MSF: Demonic Gear

Gear Tier 19 in MSF is more commonly referred to as Demonic Gear even if it has the same functions and effects.

On Saturday, 2 March 2023 Scopely released the weekly blog update for Marvel Strike Force (MSF).

This update revealed that players can participate in numerous in-game events to earn rich rewards and that you can now  acquire Gear Tier 19.

According to the update, the latest in gear technology went live on Wednesday, 6 March 2023 in the form of Gear Tier 19 and new Demonic Gear.

Allegedly, you can enjoy a gradual power increase instead of the bulk power bump when equipping gear pieces toward Gear Tier 19.

Players should be on the lookout for Demonic Gear in future events as you will need it for upcoming missions.

Several players therefore assume that you need to participate in a few events and complete unique objectives in order to earn the new Demonic Gear.

Since the announcement about Demonic Gear, players have been questioning what it is for, how to acquire it and how to equip it.

One player believes that since Mephisto is on the splash screen in MSF, you will be able to earn him as a reward by completing DD7. This player believes that Demonic Gear has something to do with Mephisto.

Other players said that players have to equip Demonic Gear to go after Mephisto as this is in line with the game’s current theme.

Demonic Gear and Gear Tier 19

On the official MSF Discord server, numerous players have stated that Gear Tier 19 and Demonic Gear are essentially the same thing.

According to a Marvel Church Moderator, Demonic Gear is simply a cool name for Gear Tier 19. Demonic Gear will increase your Gear Tier once you have equipped all the pieces on your characters.

However, to benefit from a higher Gear Tier, you have to complete specific activities to earn Demonic Gear.

How to procure Demonic Gear

Allegedly, players can purchase Demonic Gear from the Supply Store, but you may have to spend real money to acquire the pieces.

Alternatively, you can progress in the Incursion II Raid to earn Demonic Orbs and if you open the orbs, there is a chance that you will earn Demonic Gear.

That being said, the weekly blog update revealed that if you participate in future events, players will earn Demonic Gear.

This essentially means that you do not have to spend real money to earn Demonic Gear, however, if you do spend money, you can acquire the gear pieces at a faster rate.

Incursion II Raid

MSF players should note that Incursion II is the hardest raid in Marvel Strike Force and to participate in it, you need T2 Level 4 ISO-8.

We also recommend that you are at least level 95 with Gear Tier 18 and that you have 7 Yellow Stars and 6 Red Star characters.

If you complete the various lanes in this raid, there may be a chance that you could obtain Demonic Orbs, which contain Demonic Gear Pieces. Unfortunately, you cannot decide which gear piece you want as the items are randomly selected.
