MSF: Old Man Logan

MSF players can add Old Man Logan to their roster by participating in the Old Man Logan Trials, which has 5 new difficulty levels.

Marvel Strike Force’s developer, Scopely, released an update for the game on Thursday, 2 May 2024. The update revealed that in a dystopian future in an alternate universe, supervillains conquered and divided the United States.

Logan (Wolverine) is an aged and disillusioned old man living a simple life with a family. However, he is haunted by a traumatic past event where he was tricked into killing his fellow X-Men.

Logan vows never to use his claws again, but when he embarks on a brutal cross-country journey, he is forced to confront old foes and new challenges in a radically changed world.

MSF players can now obtain Old Man Logan by participating in the Old Man Logan Trials. Once you have collected enough character shards for Old Man Logan, you will be able to add Old Man Logan to your roster.

Keep in mind that only Commanders level 50 and higher can prepare their rosters for battle to procure Old Man Logan shards.

For the first Legendary Event in 2024, Scopely revealed that they have implemented some changes for their Trials.

Commanders will be able to unlock Old Man Logan at 4 Yellow Stars by collecting their input teams and completing Difficulty 8.

However, Difficulty 8 will not have Yellow Star requirements. Furthermore, Scopely introduced 5 new difficulties, which means that there is a total of 15 difficulties that you can enjoy.

The new difficulties will reward players who upgrade their input teams to 5 Yellow Stars and more.

Another modification that Scopely made was to introduce a minimum score for the leaderboard. You need a minimum score of 100 000 to qualify.

Old Man Logan’s abilities

Similar to other villains and heroes in MSF, Old Man Logan has various abilities that you can use to defeat opponents.

The following table lists his abilities with a description of each:

Wasteland Strike	Attacks primary target for 300% damage and 100% Drain. Applies the Disrupted effect.
ISO-8/ Counter Attack / Assists	Attacks primary target for 250% as well as 17% Piercing damage. He also deals 100% Drain and applies Disrupted.
Logan’s Fury	Attacks primary target for 420% and flips all positive effects into negative effects. Chains to 4 targets within 2 spaces of the previous target for 250% damage. Gains Revive Once. Gains 2 Death Proof, Immunity and Safeguard.
Still the Best	Clears Barrier on all enemies. Attacks all enemies for 550% Piercing damage and 100% Drain. Flips all positive effects into negative effects. Applies Bleed, Defense Down, Disrupted and Trauma for 2 turns.

Old Man Logan Trial Difficulty requirements

As previously mentioned, Scopely introduced 5 new Difficulty levels for you to enjoy. Keep in mind, however, that certain Difficulty levels have specific requirements that must be met.

Commanders should note that Difficulty 8 is the minimum difficulty to reach the 4-star Unlock for Old Man Logan.

Pacts for the Old Man Logan Trials Event

There are certain Pacts that you have to consider while participating in the Old Man Logan Trials event,. The pacts are as follows:

Mysterio’s Triumph	Hero characters deal an additional 10% damage to other Hero characters

Is Old Man Logan worth it?

As previously mentioned, the Old Man Logan Trials is the first Legendary event of 2024. Although it may take some effort to collect his character shards, it is worth obtaining him.

If you decide not to participate in the event and add him to your roster, you may not get another opportunity to collect him.

When the event concludes, you may have to spend real money to add him to your roster if you have not done so when the event was active.
