MSF announced that players can enjoy a new Alliance War event, Secret Strike, which introduces new Room Bonuses.
You can protect the Marvel Universe from horrific foes in this exciting video game, Marvel Strike Force (MSF). In addition to following the main arc, players can enjoy activities like the Alliance War (AW).
The game’s developer, Scopely, recently announced that players can enjoy an AW event called Secret Strike.
Alliance War
In order to participate in the AW, you have to join an Alliance. There are several Alliances that you can choose from, though you need to be at least level 45 in a level 20 Alliance to join the War.
When you join an Alliance, you will have a 24-hour cooldown until you can participate in a War.
An AW will start and run at a specific time and day of the week, based on what your Alliance Leader has picked.
Once an Alliance Leader has picked a zone, it will show the members of the Alliance the start time adjusted to the clocks in their devices.
MSF: Secret Strike
Scopely, MSF’s developer, recently announced that players can now enjoy a new AW event known as Secret Strike.
This event began on Sunday, 27 August 2023 and will remain active for some time. This event also retains many elements from the Knowhere Siege and only slightly improves on them.
It features new Global Bonuses and new Room Bonuses. War energy distribution remains the same as it was in Knowhere Siege, therefore, you will receive 10 Energy at the beginning of the War.
Players have an option to purchase 4 additional War Energy at any point during the event. Commanders should note that Attempt Bonus received amendments for the Secret Strike event.
Every Room has 10 Points as an Attempt Bonus. For every lost attack in the room, the Attempt Bonus drops by 2 points.
With Secret Strike, the Attempt Bonus of a room can drop to 0 points, instead of Knowhere Siege’s minimum of 6 points. This means that you need to be more efficient in this event.
During the Secret Strike event, canceling combat during an attack will decrease the Attempt Bonus and will consume War Energy. We therefore recommend that you do not cancel combat.
You will also encounter the Exhausted Effect, which means that after every Defensive victory, that team will have an Exhausted effect applied to them.
This effect can stack up to 4 times and every time reduces the statistics of your team by 20 percent.
This means that if your defensive team manages to defend itself 4 times, then by the 5th battle, their statistics will be reduced by 80 percent. Unfortunately, this Effect cannot be cleared or removed.
How to score points
In order to win the War, your Alliance must eliminate the most squads. If two Alliances are tied on squad kills, the Alliance with the highest Attempt Bonus will win the War.
To score points during the Secret Strike event, you must complete certain activities, though every activity rewards you with points, as displayed below:
Activity | Points |
First to fully clear the Helicarrier in War | 1 Point |
Eliminating the entire squad | 1000 Points |
Eliminating a single enemy | 200 Points |
Destroying other rooms | 5000 Points |
Destroying a Reactor | 15 000 Points |
Destroying a Bridge | 40 000 Points |
Room Bonuses
As mentioned, the Secret Strike event introduces new Room Bonuses. There are Global bonuses for every room and specific bonuses for the following rooms:
Room | Bonuses |
Cargo Bay |
|
Hangar |
|
Med Bay |
|
Barracks |
|
Armory |
|
War Defenses
In order to succeed in the Secret Strike event, MSF players must have the best war defense team available. If you are assigned to the Armory, Hangar, Barracks or adjacent rooms, you should focus on placing Mutants of Defense.
You can therefore select Unlimited X-Men, Marauders with Emma Frost, Weapon X and Death Seed. If you are assigned to Rooms adjacent to the Hanger, you can try using teams whose main Defensive options are Barrier.
We recommend Darkhold, Unlimited X-Men, Bionic Avengers and Marauders with Emma Frost.
