MSF players can unlock Sylvie by participating in a month-long in-game event, however the details surrounding the event are unknown.
Marvel Strike Force (MSF) invites gamers to immerse themselves in the well-renowned Marvel Universe to protect it from intergalactic threats. There are several superheroes and supervillains that you can get to formulate teams.
One of these characters is Sylvie, who has mind-control abilities which can turn her enemies against each other.
Sylvie’s lore
Sylvie Laufeydottir, born Loki Laufeydottir, is a princess of Asgard. As a child, she caused a Neus event and escaped the Time Variance Authority.
Sylvie hid in several timelines while seeking revenge against the TVA and the Time-Keepers.
On the verge of her plan’s successful execution, she was interrupted by another Loki Variant, with whom she formed an uneasy alliance.
Sylvie and Loki worked together to fight the TVA, however, they discovered that the Time-Keepers were fake.
Sylvie followed Loki into the Void where they eventually found and confronted He Who Remains, the creator of the TVA.
She got her revenge and slayed He Who Remains, which caused the Multiverse to expand and Kang the Conqueror to gain power.
MSF: Sylvie Unlock
Although Sylvie has been part of the Marvel Universe for some time, she only made her appearance in MSF recently.
Her character shards officially became available on Monday, 24 July 23. Players can earn up to 180 Sylvie Shards by opening Enhancing Orbs.
That being said, these orbs cost approximately 675 Power Cores. Gamers were able to purchase officers for the first 3 days after her initial release.
These limited-time offers allegedly contained Sylvie Shards, which made procuring the shards much speedier.
If you are unwilling to spend real money to acquire Sylvie, you can wait until her monthly event begins.
It is unclear when the event will commence, but MSF players shared on the official Discord channel that it will begin on Wednesday, 2 July 2023 or Thursday, 3 July 2023.
During this event, players must complete certain tasks and achieve certain goals to earn Sylvie shards.
Currently, the details regarding her event are unknown. However, we believe that MSF will release details about the event in the near future.
We recommend that you keep an eye on the official MSF website to stay updated on Sylvie’s release event. It is crucial that you procure Sylvie during the event, as you may need to use real money to acquire her at a later stage.
Call me Sylvie
To celebrate the arrival of Sylvie, MSF is hosting a limited-time event called Call Me Sylvie, which commenced on Monday, 24 July 2023.
The event has 2 difficulties, namely, Story mode and Challenge mode, the latter of which is more difficult Players can select their preferred difficulty before joining the event.
Each mode contains 8 missions which allow you to battle through Sylvie’s story and to earn as many rewards as you can.
To participate in the Story difficulty, you need to use any combination of 5 Bifrost and/or New Warrior characters.
The Challenge mode difficulty, however, requires Sylvie, Beta Ray Bill, Vahl, Loki (Teen) and your choice of Bifrost or New Warrior character to fill the last spot.
Sylvie’s abilities
Sylvie has the unique abilities outlined below to help her defeat enemies:

| Variant Vendetta | Attacks primary target for 430 percent damage and applies Offense Down for 2 turns. She also copies and clears 2 positive effects, except Taunt. |
| Timeless Trickster | Attacks all enemies for 500 percent damage and flip Speed up and applies a Slow effect on foes. She also reduces speed bar for all enemies by 5 percent and an additional 5 percent per Bifrost ally. |
| Goddess of Mischief | On her turn, she heals herself for 5 percent of max health and an additional 5 percent of max health per non-minion Asgardian ally.
She controls the mind of a random enemy to attack a different enemy. |
Which ISO-8 class should you assign to Sylvie?
Since Sylvie is a new character in MSF, it can be difficult to decide which ISO-8 class to assign to her. Fortunately, players can experiment with the available classes to determine which class suits their gameplay.
Although you can assign any ISO-8 class to her, we recommend you assign the Striker class, as she can reduce the speed of her target with an ISO-8 attack. Assigning the Striker class will increase her damage output.
When considering at her skills, her basic attack can reduce the speed bar by 15 percent for up to 3 targets. Evidently, a follow-up attack on the primary target will reduce the speed of that target by another 15 percent.
