MSF: Tigra ISO

Since Tigra was recently added to MSF, several players are unsure which ISO-8 class to assign to her, but we recommend Striker or Raider.

In Marvel Strike Force (MSF) you can formulate teams that consist of powerful superheroes and supervillains. Before you can create a team, you have to expand your character collection.

One of the characters that you can acquire is Tigra, but since she was recently added to MSF, some players do not know which ISO-8 class to assign to her.

Who is Tigra?

Initially introduced as The Cat in the 1972 original comic by the same name, Greer Nelson began her superhero career with her physician and mental potential. This was unlocked by experimental procedures and a gadget-heavy catsuit.

She suffered a life-threatening injury during a selfless act of heroism, but fortunately, the mystically evolved Cat People saved her by transforming her into the iconic half-human, half-cat warrior, Tigra.

Tigra is imbued with superhuman agility, stamina and strength. Tigra has fought alongside the various team lineups of Avengers and she is now ready to join new arrivals, Mockingbird and Ronin, alongside S.T.R.I.K.E veterans, The Thing and Agent Coulson.

MSF: Tigra ISO

As you advance in MSF, you will unlock a variety of ISO-8 classes and if you assign a class to a character, he or she will receive unique bonuses and benefits.

Since Tigra was recently released, several MSF players are unsure about which ISO-8 class they should assign to her.

Although you can assign any ISO-8 class to Tigra, this is not recommended, as only a few classes will enhance her capabilities.

Before choosing an ISO-8 class, you have to consider her abilities, as they are a good indication of what ISO-8 class you should assign to her.

She is a protector who focuses on evading incoming attacks and therefore, the Fortifier class will not be beneficial for her.

As a Striker, she can apply Evade on herself with her ISO-8 attacks, which means that you can consider assigning the Striker class to her.

Alternatively, you can use the Raider class, especially if you are lacking Vulnerables. This means that she can apply a decent amount of Vulnerable effects.

We recommend that players experiment with the Striker and the Raider classes for Tigra. If you are unsure of what these ISO-8 classes specifically do, you can use the following table:

ISO-8 class Description
Striker Strikers have increased damage, and they can follow up their attacks if the target has a Vulnerable effect. Keep in mind that the extent of follow-up damage is determined by the Striker’s power and ISO-8 level.
Raider Raiders have an increased chance to land a Critical Attack, but they also have increased Critical damage. If they crit, they apply a Vulnerable effect.

Tigra’s abilities

Similarly to other MSF characters, Tigra has amazing abilities that you can witness in a battle. Her abilities can be described as follows:

Ability Description
Rising Up
  • Attacks target for 250 percent piercing damage and applies Bleed
  • Chains to 1 adjacent target for 200 percent damage and applies Bleed
  • If any target already had bleed, it applies an additional 2 bleed to that target.
Stalks her Prey
  • Attacks primary target for 300 percent piercing damage and applies 2 Bleed
  • Rebound Chains to 4 adjacent targets for 280 percent and applies 2 Bleed
Went the Distance
  • Attacks all enemies for 500 percent damage, applies Slow and 2 Bleed for 2 turns
  • Gains 1 Evade, up to a maximum of 5
  • Gains 1 Taunt, up to a maximum of 3
Passion for Glory
  • On spawn, it applies 2 Evade to self and 1 random adjacent New Avenger ally
  • On dodge, it fills the speed bar by 3 percent
  • New Avenger allies gain a 20 percent increase in damage and a 15 percent increase in Max Health Points

How to obtain Tigra

Currently, only players who are willing to spend real money in MSF can obtain Tigra. Keep in mind that you do not have to purchase Tigra to progress in the game.

Several MSF players believe that Tigra will be available for collection for free in the near future.

Keep in mind that you may have to participate in an in-game event and complete certain objectives to earn Tigra’s character shards.

Unfortunately, it is unknown when the event will occur, however, we recommend that you keep an eye on the official MSF announcements.

Tigra’s team

Although players can use Tigra in any team, this is not recommended. Considering her skills, it is clear that you can use her with the New Avengers. This team consists of Agent Coulson, Mockingbird, Ronin and The Thing.

Most members of the New Avengers team are newly released, so you have to participate in events to collect them.
