To maximize the Young Avengers’ skills and abilities in MSF’s Alliance War, you need to know which ISO-8 classes to use and understand how their skills function.
In Marvel Strike Force (MSF) you can explore the fictional world of Marvel while protecting it from horrific enemies. To aid you in this task, you can procure heroes and villains to create teams.
One of the teams that you can build is the Young Avengers. However, you need to use the right ISO-8 classes and understand their skill ratings to ensure maximum efficiency.
Who are the Young Avengers?
According to Marvel lore, the Young Avengers is the name of 2 superhero teams that appear in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
This team consists of numerous adolescent characters who typically have connections to established members of Marvel’s primary superhero team, The Avengers.
Over the years, there have been several Avengers, but not all of them have adolescent connections. In MSF, you can build a Young Avengers team that consists of America Chavez, Echo, Kate Bishop, Spider-Man (Miles), Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel.
Gamers should keep in mind that the teams in MSF can only comprise 5 characters, so you can decide which 5 characters you want in your Young Avengers team.

The Young Avengers can be quite powerful if you understand how their skills function. Furthermore, their performance on the battlefield will improve if you assign the correct ISO-8 class to all the members.
The table below lists these aspects for the Young Avengers team:
Team member | Recommended ISO-8 class | Skill rating |
America Chavez | Since she is a single-target damage dealer, you should assign the Skirmisher class to her. You can also use the Striker class. |
|
Echo | We recommend that you either assign the Striker or Raider class to increase the amount of damage that she deals. |
|
Kate Bishop | Kate will benefit the most from the Skirmisher class, but if you want to increase her damage, you can assign the Raider class instead. |
|
Ms. Marvel | Depending on what you want to enhance, she should use the Fortifier, Skirmisher or Raider class. She will benefit the most from the Skirmisher class though. |
|
Spider-Man (Miles) | You should assign the Raider class to Miles, but you can use the Skirmisher class if you want to be sure that his debuffs are placed on enemies. |
|
Squirrel Girl | The only ISO-8 class you should use for her is Healer. |

Is Spider-Man (Miles) part of the Young Avengers?
Some MSF players believe that Spider-Man (Miles) is part of the Young Avengers since his connection to the team, Avengers, is Spider-Man.
However, other MSF players argue that he is not part of the team and therefore, they only use Squirrel Girl, Ms. Marvel, Echo, Kate Bishop and America Chavez in their Young Avengers team.
Whether you want to include Spider-Man (Miles) in your Young Avengers or not team is up to you. You may enjoy him more than one of the other characters, or you could use him until you have acquired one of the other members of the team.
Young Avengers Gears
If you are not going to include Spider-Man (Miles) in your Young Avengers team, you should prioritize Kate Bishop. Once you have her gear, you can focus on Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Echo and America Chavez in that order.
With regard to gear uniques, you should use the following:
Team member | Gear uniques |
America Chavez | Astral Energy |
Echo | Ballistic Weaver |
Kate Bishop | Molecular Cloth |
Ms. Marvel | S.H.I.E.L.D Tech |
Squirrel Girl | Unstable Cloth |
Which activity should you use the Young Avengers for?
According to the Young Avengers’ skill rating, they can be used in all game modes in MSF, but their primary function is War Defense.
You should thus use them during the Alliance War activity. This team contains some of the best skill-type heroes in the game, though they are not ideal for War Offense.
America Chavez’s America’s Starling can reduce enemy damage by 20 percent while reducing enemy drain by 100 percent. Echo’s passive, Perfect Mimicry, grants her and other Young Avengers a defense buff for 2 turns. These skills are important while defending in the Alliance War.
