Scopely removed the “Open All Orbs” feature from MSF’s Orb Chamber due to stability issues, however they are currently resolving the issue.
One of the ways that you can expand your character collection in Marvel Strike Force (MSF) is by opening Orbs.
Some players are able to procure numerous orbs at the same time and to help you open them all, Scopely introduced the “Open All Orbs” feature, which allows you to open all of your orbs simultaneously.
However, over the last few days, several players have noticed that the Open All Orbs option has been removed from MSF.
On Friday, 29 March 2024, MSF released an announcement that part of the Anniversary Gift was sent to players, and it contained a high quantity of orbs.
Players were extremely excited to open their orbs with the help of the Open All Orbs system, however, the game crashed.
MSF revealed that since several players were trying to open all of their orbs at the same time, the game experienced stability issues.
To help alleviate the issue, Scopely removed the Open all Orbs feature from the game. Due to stability issues, Scopely will send out some form of compensation to players as an apology for the inconvenience.
When will the setting return to MSF
At the time of writing, Scopely has yet to announce when the Open all Orbs option will be returned to MSF. This essentially means that you have to open all of your manually if you are interested in expanding your character collection.
That being said, you can still open 10 orbs at a time, which is better than opening one orb at a time.
Alternatively, you can wait until the Open all Orbs feature has returned to MSF and use it to open all of your orbs simultaneously.
What is the compensation?
To make up for the option being removed, Scopely will compensate players, but unfortunately, the announcement did not reveal what the compensation is.
Nevertheless, we recommend that you check your in-game mail regularly to ensure that you claim the compensation when it is released.
We believe that the compensation will be Gold, which can be used to purchase items in the game, or some kind of orbs that you can redeem to earn additional items.
How to open orbs
In order to open the orbs in your inventory, you have to open the Orb Chamber.
Once you are in the Orb Chamber, you can select how many Orbs you want to open, but you should keep in mind that the number of orbs you can open depends on how much currency you have.
For instance, it costs 450 Power Cores to open a Premium Orb, but if you only have enough Power Cores for 1 orb, you will only be able to open 1.
MSF players who have more Power Cores in their inventory will be able to open more Premium Orbs.
