Punishing: Gray Raven allows players to follow various builds of the same colour, one of which is the four-star unit, Lucia.
Overview
Punishing: Gray Raven is a mobile action, role-playing game that players compare to one of the best action role-playing games of its time, Nier Automata and Honkai Impact 3. This is due to its design and fast-paced action, as well as similar mechanics.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world which is overrun by corrupted cybernetic enemies, caused by the Punishing Virus. The player takes on the role of a commander who leads a squad of three characters, known as Constructs, against the corrupted and other forces to retake the planet.
The Constructs can be strengthened by promotion and levelling up. Players can equip them with a variety of weapons and gear, which can have an influence on their level. The player can also unlock additional Constructs by advancing in the main storyline, and more Constructs, as well as their items, can be obtained through a gacha machine and in-game events.
The game also features a housing system in the form of dormitories (dorms) and players are able to decorate and move Constructs into their dorms in order to improve their mood. Constructs can be assigned to do chores in order to obtain in-game materials.
One of the Constructs that players can obtain in Punishing: Gray Raven is Lucia. She is the leader of Gray Raven and is described as brave and selfless. Lucia is ever at the frontline of the war against the Corrupted. It is important to note that there are different builds available for her, such as the Dawn, Red Lotus and Alpha Crimson Abyss build. However, this guide will only focus on the Lucia Red Lotus build.
Lucia Red Lotus build
The Red Lotus variant allows players to play Lucia as a close-combat structure, who specializes in rapid attacks. It is important to note that the variant forms part of the B-rank. The following table indicates Lucia Red Lotus’ statistics:
Red Lotus statistics | Amount of statistic |
Critical (CRIT) | 101 |
Defences (DEF) | 159 |
Damage (DMG) | 223 |
Health Points (HP) | 1113 |
Elements | 80 percent physical
20 percent Fire |
Lucia deals elemental and physical damage, which makes her a very flexible unit in MIR4. Even though she is just a B-rank character, she deals a good amount of damage to bosses and mobs if players use her well.
Skills and abilities
Lucia’s core passive will enter a burst state. She is then able to utilize dual blades as basic attacks when expending a red orb within four seconds after any 3-orb. She will also continuously attack the enemy for a total of 1 080 percent physical damage.
Orb skills
The following table indicates the orbs’ colours and what they are capable of doing:
Orb colour | Orb abilities |
Yellow orb | Lucia is able to launch the target in one strike. This ability deals a specific amount of physical damage, depending on the upgrade. |
Blue orb | The orb will ignite Lucia’s weapon, which deals physical damage to targets. However, the attacks gain additional fire damage for a few seconds. |
Red orb | Lucia will launch forward, towards the enemy. She will then pull them in to deal physical damage. |
Active skills
Lucia features three active skills: Attack, Ultimate and a Quick Time Event (QTE). The attack ability allows her to continuously attack her enemies, dealing 540 percent physical damage. The ultimate expands 100 energies to unleash a flurry of blades, which deals 140 percent physical damage for every hit. However, it deals 1 000 percent damage on the final hit, while the QTE enables Lucia to enter the battlefield with dual blades, dealing 1 110 percent physical damage.
Passive abilities
The following table indicates Lucia’s passive abilities and a description of each:
Passive ability | Description |
Class passive | Lucia’s overall damage will increase by 20 percent. |
Awaken | When Lucia enters a battle, she will obtain three signal balls. However, this only occurs once per battle. |
Leader | With this passive ability, all assault structures’ attack is increased by 10 percent. |
Content and teams
Since Lucia is a physical and fire element damage dealer, she can be used in both fire and physical weather Warzones. However, she is able to perform decently on the other Warzones. With regard to the team, if players do not need a healer, they can swap Nanami with Lucia.
For tanks, it is advised that players use Kamui Tenebrion. It is believed that he is currently the highest recommended tank in Punishing: Gray Raven. hile players can use Bianca as a support to set up the game for Lotus, players can swap her either when slow motion is activated or when they have enough pings to support Lucia’s combination.
