PSO2 NGS: Tech Art Customizations

The PSO2: NGS December 2023 update revealed that players can now customize their PA and Techs via the new Tech Art Customizations system.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS) is an explorative video game that combines strategic elements with role-playing.

The game’s developer, Sega, regularly updates the game to ensure that gamers have the best gaming experience.

Tech Art Customizations

Sega recently released the December 2023 update information which introduced new content and many features for you to enjoy.

One of the new systems that the update introduced is the Tech Art Customization, which essentially allows you to modify your Photon Arts and Techniques with increased attack range, gauge accumulation and more.

To access the new feature, you have to go to your nearest Class Counter and select the “Tech Art Customization” option. In this menu players will be able to customize their Photon Arts and Techniques.

First, you have to select which category you want to customize and then select the type of customization you want. Since there are numerous customization options available, we recommend that you make your decision strategically.

Players can also  select the customization option’s level, though this requires a variety of resources.

It is noteworthy that every class in PSO2: NGS will have different customization options. If you are a Bouncer, you can choose the following customization options for your Jet Boots’ Fierce Wave:

1	Increases Attack Range Decreases PP Cost
2	Increases shockwave attack duration Potency per shockwave hit is decreased Decreases PP Cost
3	Activates Thrust Drive by pressing the normal attack button after activating this PS PP Cost is reduced

Technique Customization Options

Similarly to the Photon Art Customization Options, the Technique Customization Options are determined by the class your character is.

The table below lists the Technique Customization Options for Bouncer’s Wind Technique, Zan:

1	Increases Vortex Attack Range and/or Reduces Number of Hits Decreases PP Cost
2	Increases Charged Attack Range and Attack Speed PP Cost is reduced
3	Elemental Down Factor is decreased Decreases compound technique gauge accumulation PP Cost is decreased

Which customization should you choose?

The Photon Arts and Tech customization option that you should choose depends on your personal preference and fighting style.

Before making your final decision, we recommend that you experiment with all the available options if this is possible.

When you have experimented with all the customization options, you will be able to determine which option best suits your fighting style.

PSO2: NGS players can then make their final decision to enhance their gameplay.
