Raid: Shadow Legends recently announced that players can procure the new Rathalos Gear Set by progressing through the Force Pass
Raid: Shadow Legends recently announced on X, formerly Twitter, that a new variable Gear Set is coming to the game.
The Rathalos Set was inspired by the Monster Hunter franchise, and it will provide bonuses based on each Gear Piece that you have equipped.
According to the post, players can procure the new Rathalos Set through the season 15 Forge Pass. The Forge Pass gives you a special series of Challenges and if you complete them, you will earn Forge Pass Points.
You can progress through the Forge Pass to claim unique rewards, though Forge Passes are only active for a limited period of time, known as Seasons.
Every Forge Pass Season consists of unique challenges and rewards. You can only complete the challenges and claim the rewards while the Season is active.
As you complete the Forge Pass challenges, you will earn Forge Pass Points and increase your Forge Pass Level.
When you reach new Forge Pass Levels, you will unlock new Rewards, which includes Chaos Ore, an Exclusive Artifact Set as well as Forge Materials.
It is noteworthy that there are 2 layers of rewards, namely Forge Pass Core and Forge Pass Gold. The first layer is available to all players, and it allows you to complete Daily Challenges to earn Forge Pass Points.
The Gold Forge Pass allows you to do everything that the Core Pass features, but it also gives you access to the Weekly Challenges.
Players who purchase this pack will also get a special Season-Long Raid Boost which gives you extra Silver and XP from all Battles.
The level 50 Reward, which is an exclusive Artifact set, is only available to players who purchased the Gold Pass. Luckily, you can acquire some Rathalos Set pieces by progressing through the free Core Forge Pass.
Rathalos Set effects
As previously explained, the effects that you receive from the Rathalos Set are determined by how many pieces of the set you have equipped. The following table lists the effects that you can get:

| 3 | Speed is increased by 5% |
| 4 | Fills the Champion’s Turn Meter by 5% per enemy hit by Area-of-Effect attacks |

| 6 | Ignores 30% of enemy defense when using AoE skills |
| 7 | Critical damage is increased by 15% |
| 8 | Speed is increased by 5% |
| 9 | There is a 30% chance to repeat damage dealt by AoE skills |
Will the Rathalos Set be available when the Monster Hunter collaboration event concludes?
As previously explained, the Rathalos Set was inspired by the Monster Hunter franchise. Moreover, Raid: Shadow Legends have recently collaborated with Monster Hunter to introduce new content for players to enjoy.
Several players have wondered whether they will be able to acquire the Rathalos Set when the Monster Hunter collaboration concludes or not.
On the X post, a player known as Jessica Clake asked, ‘’Is this set a limited time for the monster hunter collaboration? Or will we get it after it’s over too?”
To this question Raid: Shadow Legends replied that you will be able to get this set after the collaboration. However it is yet to be determined how players will be able to procure the Rathalos Set when the collaboration concludes.
Do you need to purchase the Gold Forge Pass to obtain the Rathalos Set?
On the official Raid: Shadow Legends Discord Channel, several players have asked whether or not they will be able to procure the Rathalos Set from the Free Core Forge Pass.
A player named Easylife mentioned that players will be able to acquire a few pieces by progressing through the Core Pass.
Furthermore, the game’s developer will return the set to the game at a later stage, presumably after the Monster Hunter collaboration has concluded.
However, gamers can use the Forge Materials to create additional Rathalos Set items.
Forge Pass challenges
In order to increase your Forge Pass levels, you have to complete challenges. The Daily Challenges can be completed by all players, but you only get 4 challenges every day.
Since these are Daily Challenges, you only have a day to complete them. Weekly Challenges, on the other hand, can only be accessed by those who purchased the Gold Pass.
These challenges take longer to complete and may be more difficult than the Daily Challenges, however, you will get better rewards for completing the challenges.
