Raid Shadow Legends: Strategos
Raid: Shadow Legends revealed on Thursday, 31 August 2023 that gamers can now procure a new Champion known as Strategos Islin.
Wielding the majestic sword passed down through generations of Elven legends, this warrior will double slash any threats attempting to invade his sacred land.
Strategos joins the High Elves faction as a Legendary Defence champion, and he is the August 2023 Fragment Fusion.
Although his abilities primarily revolve around protecting his team members with powerful forms of protection, he is also a master at speed controlling and provoking opponents.
A full description of Strategos’ abilities is listed below:
| Ability | Cooldown | Description |
| Double Slash | None | Attacks 1 enemy twice and every hit has a 35 percent chance at placing a Provoke debuff for 1 turn. However, when counterattacking, the chance increases to 50 percent. |
| Hindrance | 4 Turn Cooldown | Attacks all enemies, but before attacking, Strategos has a 75 percent chance at decreasing the duration of all enemy buffs by 1 turn. There is a 75 percent chance that this ability could apply a 30 percent Speed Decrease debuff for 2 turns. |
| Flawless Stratagem | 6 Turn Cooldown | This ability places a 50 percent Ally Protection buff on all allies. It also applies a 60 percent increase Defense buff on all allies for 2 turns. Furthermore, it places a Counterattack buff on Strategos for 2 turns and applies a Shield buff on the Champion. The value of the Shield is proportional to his defenses. |
In addition to these abilities, Strategos also has a passive ability called Protect the Troops. Whenever this Champion is attacked, the passive heals him by 1 percent for every 500 Defense that this champion has.
It also heals all other allies under the Ally Protection buff placed by this Champion by 30 percent of this skill’s initial heal.
Strategos’ blessings
There are many blessings that you can discover in Raid, but only some blessings will enhance Strategos’ abilities. We therefore recommend that you assign the following Blessings:

| Hydra Clan Boss | Miracle Heal: There is a chance that he could restore a portion of any destroyed health points whenever he heals himself or an ally. |
Gear recommendations
It is crucial that you equip the correct gear to Strategos if you want to enhance his abilities. However, the gear that you should equip is determined by the mode that you are playing.
This means that you cannot equip the same gear for PvP and PvE. The recommended gear and stats for Strategos are shown below:
