To celebrate STFC’s 5th anniversary, Scopely will be hosting unique events until November 2023, however some of these events occur in real life.
In this adventurous video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you can enjoy space-based missions, collect iconic Star Trek characters and build vessels.
The game was released in 2018, which means that it is celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2023.
How has STFC changed since launch?
STFC was released in November 2018 and has changed immensely since then. When the game was initially launched, players were able to explore a few systems, build a small quantity of vessels and recruit a few officers.
However, the game’s developer, Scopely, updated the game regularly after its initial release. With every update, the developer introduced new space systems to explore, new main quests as well as side quests.
Each update also introduced a variety of new ships that Commanders can construct and a range of officers that you can recruit to enhance your ships.
STFC: 5th Anniversary
STFC regularly hosts in-game events. Since the game is celebrating its 5th anniversary, the developers are hosting a unique in-game event to honor this milestone.
Throughout these 5 years, players have valiantly captained their crews, navigated the vast cosmos and ventured into uncharted strange new worlds.
To celebrate the collective expedition and the exceptional contributions from all explorers, Scopely has assembled an array of exciting events in celebration.
These festivities will span the galaxy encompassing both real life activities and immersive in-game experiences.
The developer invites every STFC player to participate in the celebrations as there are various rewards waiting to be claimed.
Scopely revealed that every month will feature new in-game events that players can enjoy to claim limited-time rewards. During the month of September 2023, Commanders can participate in the First Contact Sweepstakes event.
This event commenced on Thursday, 7 September 2023 and it will conclude on Monday, 25 September 2023.
Keep in mind that this event is a real-life activity. Scopely will be selecting 10 players to fly out to Los Angeles to join them at the Paramount lot for a private screening of Star Trek: First Contact.
Players who are interested in this event should note that there are certain rules they have to follow to enter the competition.
Even if you are not one of the 10 selected players who fly out to Los Angeles, you still stand a chance to win several rewards by entering the competition.
How to enter
In the milestone page of September 2023’s events, you may notice the 5th Year Anniversary Credit. There will be ten of these credits that you can collect throughout September 2023’s events.
These credits serve as a virtual raffle, or entry ticket, for the First Contact sweepstakes.
The more 5th Year Anniversary Credits you have, the higher your chances are of being selected as a winner for the event.
We therefore recommend that you keep a lookout for what events the credits are in so that you can have your best shot at winning awesome rewards.
STFC Commanders can also head over to the Webstore to claim their free Mission Keys daily for an additional 5th Year Anniversary Credit.
Prizes
When the Battle Pass cycle concludes, Scopely will select 170 Commanders across all servers who will win a range of rewards.

Rules
Before you enter this giveaway, you should ensure that you meet the necessary requirements. Entrants must have a Scopely account to be selected and contracted as a winner.
Furthermore, your Operations have to be at least level 15 to be eligible for this sweepstakes.
It is yet to be determined if these rules and requirements will remain the same for next month’s 5th Anniversary event.
