To complete STFC’s Build the Universal Translator event, you have to complete 5 Encrypted Transmission events.
In addition to following the main arcs in Star Trek Fleet Command (STF),you can participate in a variety of limited-time events.
On Monday, 11 March 2024, Scopely announced that players can now enjoy the Build the Universal Translator event.
According to the in-game description, there is a lot of subspace chatter in many different Klingon dialects, however, it is impossible to identify any keywords. It is up to you to translate all of them and follow any leads.
However, if you recruit Hoshi Sato, she will be able to translate the dialects much faster than normal. In order to earn points during this event, you have to complete corresponding SMS events.
Players must therefore complete 5 Encrypted Transmission events to earn points for the Build the Universal Translator event.
The Build the Universal Translator event will conclude on Saturday, 16 March 2024, so we recommend that you complete the Encrypted Transmission events as soon as possible to ensure that you do not miss out on any rewards.
For every Encrypted Transmission event that you complete, you will receive 100 points. The number of points you accumulate during the event determines the rewards that you will earn.
Players can earn Enterprise Coins, which can be exchanged for an array of items.
Encrypted Transmission disappearing
On the official STFC Discord server, several players have mentioned that the Encrypted Transmission event disappeared from the game. Allegedly, Scopely is currently investigating the issue and will resolve it as soon as possible.
According to the announcement on the Discord Server, Scopely will be distributing all of the rewards, including the event store currency and the meta progress as a gift to all affected players in the near future.
We therefore recommend that you keep an eye on your in-game mail to claim any rewards that you missed.
When do the Encrypted Transmission events release?
As previously mentioned, there are 5 versions of the Encrypted Transmission events that you can enjoy to complete the Build the Universal Translator event. The first event is currently active, and the other 4 are yet to be released.
It is therefore assumed that one of the Encrypted Transmission events will be released every day while the event is active. Every Encrypted Transmission event is only active for 24 hours before the following event is released.
