STFC is currently hosting a Chakotay Trivia event which requires that players travel to specific systems in order to answer a set of questions.
Players can indulge in a fictitious space realm in this explorative mobile game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC). You can build ships, train crew members, recruit officers and complete space-based missions to progress in the game.
Furthermore, you can enjoy various in-game events, one of which is Chakotay Trivia.
STFC: Chakotay Trivia
The Chakotay Trivia event invites commanders level 30 and higher to answer a set of questions pertaining to Chakotay.
This event kicked off on Monday, 10 July 2023 and will conclude on Tuesday, 11 July 2023. During this time, players must answer a set of questions.
Although the event is not active for very long, players simply have to answer the question by traveling to the corresponding system and using a Hailing Frequency in that system to progress in the event.
If you traveled to the correct system and used a Hailing Frequency, you will receive a notification that you have made progress in the event. Hailing Frequencies are a new way of communicating with other STFC players in real-time.
In simple terms, you can use the Hailing Frequency system to send emojis or a pictures to other players in the same system.
Keep in mind that it is purely cosmetic, so you will not receive any buffs or bonuses for using a Hailing Frequency.
Chakotay questions
For the Chakotay Trivia event, you have to answer 6 questions. These questions are not limited to STFC, and you may have to answer questions that revolve around the Star Trek franchise:
- Who sponsored Chakotay’s application to Starfleet Academy?
- Before joining the crew of the Voyager, Chakotay was a captain aboard which Maquis raiding vessel?
- Among Chakotay’s original Maquis crew, who provided the biggest disappointment and betrayal for Chakotay as they adapted to their new home on the Voyager?
- In the episode, Phage, Chakotay was able to rework which part of the Voyager to help detect hidden hostile ships?
- Aside from his prowess as a pilot, Chakotay also had a reputation for being?
- To whom was Chakotay speaking when he said, “Maybe you can just flip some Borg switch and shut down your emotions, but I can’t.”

Players who are struggling to answer the questions can use the following table:

Eshu
Several players believe that the answer to the first question, “Who sponsored Chakotay’s application to Starfleet Academy?,” is B. Thus, they are traveling to Eshu to answer the question.
Unfortunately, this is the incorrect answer, and it will not progress the event if you use a Hailing Frequency in Eshu. STFC players should travel to Kibuka to complete the objective.
