STFC: Dark Space Mission 2024 update

Scopely has yet to announce whether or not they will adjust or introduce new content to STFC’s Dark Space mission in 2024.

The main way to progress in Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) is by completing the game’s main quests of the game. Since these quests are a crucial part of the game, you are obligated to complete them.

One of the main missions is Dark Space, though it cannot be started by accepting it in a system.

This is because the Dark Space mission is part of a mission chain. To unlock this mission, you have to complete The Primeval mission.

Once you have gained access to the Dark Space mission, Maia will reveal that you have to collect large quantities of Raw Ore to upgrade your ship’s hull.

Players must provide 10 000 G3 Raw Ore to open warp paths. When you have donated the materials, Maia will mention that she will analyze the new star systems and assess their potential for new discoveries.

Since gathering 10 000 G3 Raw Ore can take a while, several Commanders have wondered whether this mission will get an update in 2024.

Unfortunately, Scopely has yet to announce whether they will adjust this mission in the near future or not.

Commanders are therefore forced to obtain a large quantity of resources to complete the quest. That being said, the Dark Space mission is one of several missions that you have to complete to get access to Deep Space.

Deep Space is the G4+ area of Federation, Romulan, Klingon and Independent space. In this part of the galaxy, the systems are under Fog of War, which means that you need to have a ship or a base inside the system to see inside it.

Rewards

Unlike other missions in STFC, you will not receive any rewards for completing the Dark Space mission. However, you will get access to Deep Space, which is also referred to as Dark Space.

Keep in mind that you can only enter Deep Space if you are level 38 or higher.

Players who have access to Deep Space can gather a variety of resources and they will also gain access to numerous new missions.

Deep Space hostiles

Once you have access to Deep Space, you will notice that the enemies are much more powerful than the other enemies in the game.

Commanders should therefore ensure that their entire fleet is upgraded to the maximum level before they start a battle with one of the enemies in Deep Space.

If you are yet to reach level 38, we recommend that you start upgrading your Voyager as much as possible to prepare for the day when you unlock Deep Space. Furthermore, you can upgrade your Officers to prepare them for potential battles.

Players who have already reached level 38 should continue to upgrade their entire fleet to be able to defeat stronger hostiles.
