STFC: Descendant Space

During STFC’s Sending Information event, players had to relay the information to the other party and set a course for Descendant Space.

In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), gamers can encounter legendary characters, locations and ships from the well-renowned series, Star Trek.

As a Commander of a fleet, you have to complete space-based missions, build ships, recruit officers and harvest resources.

Furthermore, you can enjoy in-game events such as Sending Information, which sets a course for Descendant Space.

STFC: Descendant Space

On Tuesday, 13 June 2023, players levels 10 to  60 were able to enjoy the Sending Information event.

Its official description reads, “Commander, there are parties on either side of the Anomaly now. We have successfully set up communications with the Alpha Quadrant. Relay the information to the other party and set a course for Descendant Space.”

To earn rewards in this event, players had to use Hailing Frequencies, especially in Information Systems and by helping your Alliance.

Unfortunately, the event did not elaborate on the Descendant Space and therefore, several players were left confused.

It is worth noting that Descendant Space is not a realm in STFC. However, this does not mean that it will not be a realm in the future. There is a possibility that Scopely, the game’s developers, will add the realm to the game in the future.

Hailing Frequencies

In February 2023, Scopely released update 51, which introduced many features to the game, including Hailing Frequencies.

In simple terms, Hailing Frequencies allows you to socialize with your fellow commanders through animated Star Trek themed emotes.

You could display peaceful intentions or trick other players into an ambush. To earn rewards during the Sending Information event, you had to use a Hailing Frequencies emote in Information Systems.

You could also send an emote to a player who is part of your Alliance to earn points.

Why was Sending Information only active for 1 day?

Unfortunately, players only had 1 day to score points for the Sending Information event. It is believed that the event was only active for a day because the tasks that you had to complete to earn rewards did not require much time.

You simply had to travel to an Information System and use a Hailing Frequency emote to score points.

However this also means that if you did not log into STFC when the event was active, you missed out on  the event.

When is the next Sending Information event?

Since Scopely has yet to release a schedule for their STFC events, it is impossible to know when the following Sending Information event will be.

We therefore recommend that you log into the game regularly to see which events are active. Alternatively, you can join the official Discord channel to see which events are active.
