STFC: Dual Generators

Dual Generators are one of the most powerful Artifacts in STFC as they increase your Isolytic Defenses for all ships in your fleet.

As you progress in Star Trek Fleet Command, you will earn a variety of Artifacts, which are powerful items that will grant a wide range of potent buffs to the ones who acquire them.

One of the Artifacts that you can acquire is Dual Generators and according to the in-game description, these Generators have been seen in various locations throughout the Alpha Quadrant.

Dual Generators are typically used as a stabilization matrix for experimental scientific research.

However, they essentially increase your Isolytic Defense for all your vessels. It is crucial that you upgrade this artifact regularly as its effect increases with every level.

Isolytic Damage operates alongside standard damage instead of replacing it. With every shot fired, Isolytic Damage is dealt in addition to the regular standard damage.

Commanders should note that Isolytic Damage operates independently of standard mitigation values.

This is because it has its own form of mitigation, Isolytic Defense. This attribute allows Isolytic Damage to remain formidable even when facing hostiles with high standard mitigation.

You will therefore be able to deal a high amount of damage to your enemies.

How to acquire Dual Generators

All items in STFC have a corresponding rarity, which means that common items are much easier to acquire than rare items. Since Dual Generals are an Epic Artifact, you will need to put in time and effort to procure them.

Players can find the Dual Generators Artifact in their Voyager Refinery. You have to select the “Rare Anomaly Same Exchange” tab to obtain Dual Generators.

That being said, there is a cooldown that activates every time you obtain parts for the Artifact.

Upgrading your Dual Generators

Players can increase the effects of their Dual Generators by increasing their levels. The item’s effects for each level are as follows:

Resources required to upgrade your Dual Generators

In order to increase your Dual Generators’ effects, you have to increase its level, though Commanders have to acquire specific items to complete the process.

For all levels until level 15, you need to acquire certain shards to increase a Dual Generator’s level.

STFC players can collect these shards by vanquishing Formation Armadas from the galaxy, however, you can also open Artifact Restoration chests to obtain shards.

Once the Artifact reaches level 15, you need to obtain Artifact Remnants to upgrade the Dual Generators further.
