STFC: Freebooter Crew

Freebooters in STFC can be quite difficult to defeat and therefore you have to use specific crew combinations.

There are numerous missions that you can complete in Star Trek Fleet Command to earn rich rewards.

The Ex-Borg Faction features 2 daily missions, namely, Freebooter Hunt and Freebooter Dominance. To complete these missions, you have to vanquish 2 and 6 Freebooter hostiles, respectively.

Keep in mind, however, that Freebooters can be quite difficult to defeat, which means that you will have to assign a powerful crew to ensure your victory.

Fortunately, there are numerous crew combinations that you can use to vanquish the Freebooters from the galaxy.

On the official STFC Discord channel, several Commanders shared which crews you can use to defeat a Freebooter. One player mentioned that they have had great results using Janeway, B’elanna and Kirk with their Enterprise.

You can reportedly use this strategy even if your Ent is at a lower tier. Alternatively, you can use Khan and PIC Beverly with a SNW mitigation officer. Commanders can also use Janeway, Tal and Georgiou.

If you do not have these officers in your fleet, you can use SNW Uhura with Gorkon, PIC Beverly and Hugh below deck. Additionally, players can use SNW Uhura with Georgie, Tal, Khan and Gorkon.

Freebooter Hostile Locations

Once you have decided on your crew, you have to travel to specific systems to destroy Freebooters. The table below lists the systems in which the hostiles spawn:

Hostile level System
60 Axo-Tae
58 Toxotubelle
55 Xabul Bal
53 Chakavil
50 Zhessir
45 Jeghar
40 Ch’Urux Qorva
38 Benijat

Can you lose reputation points with the Ex-Borg Faction?

Unlike some of the other Factions in STFC, the Ex-Borg Faction is positive-only, which means that it is impossible to lose reputation because of your actions.

Keep in mind, however, that you will only get access to this Faction once you reach.

If you meet the level requirement, you have to complete the We Are People Too mission to earn your first Ex-Borg Reputation Points.

Players will then also be able to unlock the Freebooter missions to earn additional Reputation Points.

Freebooter Daily Goals not appearing

If you reach level 38 and complete the required quest, you may need to wait until the event resets to see the Freebooter Daily Goals.

That being said, the Freebooter Daily Goals reset on a daily basis, which means that you only have a day to destroy the Freebooter foes.

As previously mentioned, defeating the Freebooter hostiles is quite difficult, therefore, we recommend that you experiment with the crews listed above-.
