The Gathering Information event in STFC required that players levels 10 to level 34 use the given clues to find a system.
Players can enjoy legendary Star Trek characters, storylines, ships and locations in this explorative video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC).
Players can follow the Kelvin timeline of the classic series, during which you can discover the series’ lore. In addition to the game’s main arc, you can also enjoy in-game events.
One of these events is the Information event, which requires gamers to complete Gathering Information 1 SMS.
STFC: Gathering Information 1 SMS
The Gathering Information event kicked off on Sunday, 11 June 2023 and concluded on Monday, 12 June 2023. During this time, players had to complete a specific objective to earn rewards.
It is noteworthy that the Gathering Information event was targeted at players who are level 10 to level 34. Commanders level 35 and higher were able to enjoy the Trading Information event.
This event had several parts. Gathering Information 1’s SMS stated, “The bearing reads 312,071. You have to find that system and locate a sentience. Score in this event by destroying 1 hostile in the system.”
In addition to the coordinates, players were able to use the given image to find the system that they had to explore.
To complete this SMS, gamers had to travel to the level 7 system, Yridia. Once you were in the system, you had to defeat any enemy to score points.
Gathering Information
The event not only required players to travel to 1 system, but they also had to use 3 additional clues to figure out the systems for the other SMS.
Every SMS gave players unique coordinates, which they had to use to find the system. The systems were as follows:

Since all these systems have a low level, they do not require a high warp range. Players between level 10 and level 34 were able to travel to these systems quickly to score points during the event.
Trading Information
While Commanders between level 10 and level 34 were able to enjoy Gathering Information, Commanders level 35 and higher got to complete Trading Information.
Both events functioned exactly the same way, but Trading Information required players to visit higher level systems:

Why was the Information event only active for 1 day?
Unfortunately, the reason why the Information events were only active for 1 day is yet to be determined.
However, STFC players suspect that it is because the objectives of the event did not require much time to be completed. You simply had to find 4 systems and vanquish 4 enemies to complete the event.
