STFC: Heroes and Villains Mission Guide

During the Heroes and Villains mission in STFC, you have to choose whether you want to be a Hero or a Villain.

Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) invites players to assume the role of a Commander who is in charge of a powerful fleet.

You have to explore galactic systems, complete missions, mine resources and defeat enemies to advance in the game.

Heroes and Villains Mission Guide

Scopely, the game’s developer, released 16 new quests with update 60. One of the new quests that you can complete is Heroes and Villains, which introduces the new Borg Cube vessel.

After accepting the quest, you will discover that Captain Picard’s transmission is unstable, so it is up to you to investigate the temporal signature.

When you have completed the investigation, B’Rall and Picard will have a conversation ,during which Picard will reveal that B’Rall is delusional.

Captain Picard will then task Commanders with vanquishing B’Rall before another conversation takes place.

When the conversation is over, players must look for signs of the Nexus Ribbon, however, Maia will reveal that there is something unusual on the long-range sensors and you have to find the temporal doorway.

During another conversation, Maia will give players the task of choosing between being a Hero or a villain. This important choice will determine your alignment for future Hero/Villain events.

The choice you make during this phase of the quest will determine how you have to conclude the Heroes and Villains mission.

What should you choose?

The choice you make will also determine your alignment for any future Hero and Villain events. We therefore recommend that you carefully consider your options as it cannot be reversed.

If you choose to be a Hero, you will be tasked with chasing down B’Rall to destroy the Temporal Doorway. You also have to defeat Gowron and Martok in Whinnul.

However, if you choose the Villain path, you have to activate the Temporal Doorway and destroy B’Rall’s ship before it is too late.

Rewards

It is important to note that your decision in the Heroes and Villains mission will determine the rewards that you earn for completing the quest.

The following table lists the rewards that you will earn based on the path you selected:

Path Rewards
Villain
  • Gul Dukat
  • Ikat’ika
  • Missing Translation
Hero
  • Jadzia Dax
  • Miles O’Brien
  • Missing Translation

Which path should you take?

Scopely is yet to announce the future Heroes and Villains events, which means that it is difficult to determine which path you should take.

STFC players should therefore select the path that they feel most comfortable with.

But the path that you select now will determine the tasks and objectives that you will have to complete in future events.
