STFC players can defeat the new Xindi Armadas to obtain Kemocite, which can be used to purchase chests that contain rich items.
Update 64.1 introduced new Xindi Armadas, which encourages players to find new strategies, and effectively, aims to save time by providing rewards from old armadas as well as new rewards.
Commanders level 51 and higher can attempt to defeat these powerful hostiles to earn rich rewards.
By defeating a Xindi Armada, you will receive a specific amount of Kemocite, which is a new currency that can be exchanged for chests that contain randomly selected items.
Whether you will receive Refined Kemocite or Superior Kemocite will be determined by the level of the Xindi Armada you successfully vanquish.
Once you have acquired Kemocite, you can open the G5 Xindi Uncommon Armada Pack to purchase chests with your Kemocite. To purchase 1 chest, you need approximately 12.8 million Kemocitve, while 2 chests cost 38.4 million Kemocite.
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that you will obtain the items you want by purchasing the chance. This is because the items have a specific drop rate, which means that certain items are rarer than others.
You therefore, have a chance of obtaining very rare, or very common items by opening the chest. That being said, there are a few items you are guaranteed to receive when you purchase a chest.
Items
By purchasing a chest with your Kemocite, you are guaranteed to receive the following items:

Refined Kemocite and Superior Kemocite
To reiterate, whether you earn Refined Kemocite or Superior Kemocite depends on the level of the Xindi Armada you defeat. The following table lists which enemies drop Refined Kemocite and Superior Kemocite:

As seen in the table, the higher the level of the Xindi Armada, the more Kemocite you will receive. That being said, we do not recommend that a level 51 player attempt to vanquish a level 60 Xindi Armada from the galaxy.
We advise Commanders to attack the Xindi Armada that corresponds to their current level. If you re level 51, we recommend that you attack a level 53 enemy, while higher level Commanders can attack higher level Xindi Armadas.
Where to find Xindi Armadas
Similar to other enemies in STFC, the Xindi Armadas only spawn in specific systems. If you are interested in obtaining Kemocite, you have to travel to the new systems in the galaxy:

Since these systems were recently added to STFC, some Commanders are having a difficult time locating them. Fortunately, you simply have to type the system’s name in the search bar to locate it.
Commanders should remember however that every system has a required warp range and if you do not meet the requirement, you will not be able to travel to the system.
Crews for defeating Xindi Armadas
In order to obtain the maximum amount of Kemocite, we recommend that you do not randomly select your crew.
On the official STFC Discord channel, several STFC players have already revealed that the normal Armada crews are not effective against the Xindi Armadas.
This is because you need a burning effect on the lower deck and you need to assign officer Dezoc to your vessel to successfully destroy the foes.
We therefore recommend that you use Chakotay, Janeway and Doc with Dezoc and Neelix at tier 3.
However, if your Doc and Neelix are at maximum tier, you can use Janeway, Chakotay and Doc to defeat the hostiles.
