STFC players can complete a variety of missions to gain enough experience points in order to advance to the following level.
In order to progress in Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you have to complete an array of missions.
For every mission that you complete, you will receive experience points and other rewards. The experience points will help you reach the next level.
Missions are essentially tasks that will be offered to you as you play and progress in the game.
The missions will require that you complete a certain task, which can be as simple as constructing a building, or you may have to travel to another system in order to vanquish a powerful hostile.

To find your missions, click on the green icon that looks like a Star Trek sign. This icon can be found on the left side of the game.
In the new menu, you will find the “Missions” category, which lists all the missions that you have to complete to earn rewards.
In the Missions category, you will also see the “Holodeck” icon, which allows you to take on Missions from the most beloved previously released Arcs. This building contains more than 60 Missions you can complete to earn rewards.
Along with the Missions category, you will discover “Away Teams,” “Daily Goals” and “Field Training”.
Away Teams
It is worth noting that you will only get access to Away Teams when you reach level 8. Keep in mind that you have to construct the Shuttle Bay to enjoy this feature.
Away Teams allows officers who are not assigned to ships to pursue Away Team assignments across the galaxy.
In a way, this feature is similar to regular missions, but you will not travel with your Away Team to complete the assignment.
All you have to do is to ensure that you have the right officers for the assignment and if they are successful, you will earn exciting rewards.
Daily Goals
There is no time limit on the Arc missions, so you can take as long as you want to to complete them. The Daily Goals, on the other hand, reset on a daily basis, which means that you only have 24 hours to complete the tasks.
The Daily Goals are based on where you are in STFC. For instance, low-level players may have to upgrade their Operations building to the following level to receive a reward while a higher-level Commander may have to destroy powerful enemies to earn rewards.
If you complete daily missions, you will receive Officer XP, resources and Speed-ups.
Field Training
Field Training was introduced to STFC in 2022 and it focuses on new players of the game. As a new player, you can complete the training tasks to learn the intricacies of being a Commander and unlock rewards for your efforts.
Although these missions focus on new players, existing Commanders can also complete the tasks to earn rewards.
