STFC: Plasma Storm

For an STFC Alliance Starbase to harvest plasma, it has to be relocated to an active Plasma Storm, where it will harvest the resource at a fixed rate.

Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) is an exhilarating video game that invites gamers to build ships, mine resources and complete space-based missions.

When you are part of an Alliance in STFC, you can build an Alliance Starbase, which can harvest Plasma from a Plasma Storm.

STFC: Plasma Storm

An Alliance Starbase provides an Alliance with different buffs as well as access to the new Starbase Research tree.

When deployed, the Alliance Starbase can harvest Plasma, which can be spent by the Alliance to upgrade the capabilities of the Alliance Starbase.

To harvest Plasma, the Alliance has to relocate the Alliance Starbase to an available Plasma Storm. However, you will only be able to harvest Plasma if you have the right type of Plasma Harvesters built on the starbase.

This means that if you want to harvest Magnetic Plasma, you need to build the Magnetic Plasma Harvesters on the Alliance Starbase.

The Starbase can only collect a fixed quantity of Plasma, which is determined by the Plasma Processor, from a Plasma Storm before it needs to be relocated.

There are many systems that contain Plasma Storms, but the Plasma Storms are not always available. Alliances therefore have to search systems that contain Plasma Storms to see if a Storm is available.

Relocating an Alliance Starbase

The Alliance Starbase can be relocated to any available Plasma Storms in the systems mentioned above.

Keep in mind, though, that only an Admiral or a Commodore can relocate the Starbase and this requires that the Alliance spends the appropriate amount of Alliance Reserves.

Harvesting Plasma during a Plasma Storm

Once the appropriate type of Plasma Harvesters have been deployed, they will harvest Plasma at a fixed rate based on their level.

An appropriately-ranked Alliance member, Commodore or higher, needs to collect the harvested Plasma from the Harvester and move it to the Alliance Inventory.
