To increase your Reputation with the Factions in STFC quicker, you can use specific crew combinations.
In Star Trek Fleet Command, you can gain and lose reputation with 3 different factions. Reputation essentially refers to how much a faction likes or dislikes you.
If you increase your Reputation with Klingon, Romulan and Federation, you will unlock new bonuses, missions and vessels.
Although you will earn and lose Reputation as you advance in STFC, you may decide to farm Reputation to increase your rank with a Faction quicker. To help you grind Reputation, you can use specific crew members.
Even though there are different Factions, players can use the same crew to grind Faction Reputation. We recommend that players use Ent-E Picard as the captain of the vessel, with Five of Eleven, The Doctor and Alonzo Freeman on the lower deck.
If you are a low-level player, or you have yet to obtain the recommended crew, you can use Next Gen La Forge, Next Gen Crusher with either Grace Chen or T’Laan.
All of these officers have amazing abilities that will help you vanquish enemies, and this will increase your Reputation with a Faction based on the enemy that you defeat.
Players who want to improve their Klingon Reputation can use the crew to destroy Romulans. This will also slowly improvise your Federation Reputation.
However, if you want to increase your Reputation with Federation quicker, you have to vanquish Klingon hostiles from the galaxy.
To improve your Romulan Reputation, we recommend that you destroy Federation enemies. This will also gradually increase your Klingon Reputation.
Reputation Ranks
As you increase your Reputation with a specific Faction, you will progress through the Reputation Ranks.

Which Faction should you choose?
As previously mentioned, you can gain Reputation Points for the Federation, Klingon and Romulan Factions. Unfortunately, when you earn Reputation with 1 Faction, you may be losing Reputation with another.
It is therefore impossible to increase your Reputation with all 3 Factions simultaneously. Commanders have to choose the Faction with which they want to increase their Reputation.
However, it does not matter which Faction you choose as you will get a variety of bonuses by increasing your Reputation with all 3 Factions.
We recommend that you increase your Reputation with a specific Faction until you reach a Faction Lock. You can then focus on increasing your Reputation with another Faction to unlock additional rewards.
Faction Lock
Needless to say, choosing a Faction is important, but fortunately, you do not have to be exclusively devoted to one.
In Factions like Klingon, Romulan and the Federation, your Reputation can decrease or increase based on the specific actions in the game.
These Factions all feature 3 Reputation locks at 10 million points, 1 billion points and 15 billion points. When you reach a Reputation Lock, your Reputation will not go below that Lock.
With this system in place, you can increase your Reputation with other Factions without worrying about losing Reputation with other Factions.
We recommend that you increase your Reputation with a Faction until you reach 10 million points.
You can then focus on increasing your Reputation with the other Factions until they reach 10 million Reputation Points. Gamers can follow the same strategy until they reach 15 billion points.
