STFC: Rep Levels

Commanders will receive various benefits when they reach certain reputation levels with the numerous factions in STFC.

Star Trek Fleet Command is an explorative video game which invites players to enjoy epic conflict in a fast, dynamic galaxy.

As the commander of a starbase on the edge of civilized space, players must recruit legendary officers and build amazing ships to vanquish enemies.

Rep Levels

There are several factions that you can join in STFC, namely Independent, Romulan, Klingon, Federation, Rogue and Augment.

Commanders have a reputation with every faction, except for Independent. Your reputation level determines your daily faction goals as well as whether your vessels will be attacked in faction systems.

You can increase your reputation levels with each faction by doing certain activities. Ideally, players will have a great reputation with all factions, however, this is not always possible.

This is because as your reputation increases with a specific faction, your reputation with another faction decreases.

We therefore recommend that you focus on 1 faction and increase your reputation level with that faction until you reach a faction lock.

Once you reach a faction lock with a faction, you are able to focus on another faction to increase your reputation levels.

In order to increase your reputation levels, you have to kill hostiles of other factions and complete your daily goals.

However, spending resources in the various daily Faction Reputation Events and destroying armadas will also improve your reputation levels.

Furthermore, you can complete missions and spend charged nanoprobes in the event store to increase your reputation levels.

To improve your reputation levels, you need to score points by doing certain activities. The following table lists the reputation levels for Federation, Klingon and Romulan:

Reputation Locks

Every faction will provide you with several advantages once you reach a specific reputation level. Commanders therefore have to increase their reputation levels with as many factions as possible.

As previously explained, your reputation level will increase or decrease based on your specific actions in STFC.

If you choose a certain side during a mission or destroy a specific vessel in a system, you may decrease your reputation with one of those factions.

However, there are 3 reputation locks at 10 million points, 1 billion points and 15 billion points.

When you reach one of these reputation locks, your reputation level will not decrease, even if you do something that would normally decrease your reputation level.

This system allows players to increase their reputation level with one faction without losing reputation with another.

Augment, Outlaw and Bajoran Reputation levels work differently, as they do not have reputation locks. However, your reputation levels will not decrease even if you defeat one of the faction’s vessels.
