Hero Wars is nothing like its advertisements and the developer has yet to announce why the ads do not accurately represent the actual gameplay.
Nearly everyone in the world has seen advertisements for the popular mobile game, Hero Wars.
According to the game’s description on Google Play, players have to battle the Archdemon and his evil army in epoch-shaping battles while collecting a variety of heroes along the way.
Some of the game’s advertisements reveal that players can control a male character and fight numerous enemies to earn rewards.
Other advertisements convey that you have to solve a puzzle by moving the pins, or by connecting pipes on the screen to defeat an enemy.
Several gamers have noticed that the newer advertisements for Hero Wars are extremely sexualized, which may indicate that it is not a child-friendly mobile game.
Since these advertisements were designed to capture a potential gamer’s attention, the game was downloaded by more than 100 000 000 people.
After installing Hero Wars, however, gamers realized that the advertisements are very misleading, and the game is not like the ads.
The game begins with a short tutorial, and it teaches players how to control a character and conquer enemies.
At the end of the tutorial, you will rescue another hero, who will be added to your hero collection. Gamers can then progress on the map by completing nodes.
Unfortunately, the game’s developer, Nexters, has yet to explain why the Hero Wars ads are so misleading, as they are nothing like the actual game.

Are there puzzles in Hero Wars?
Even though the Hero Wars advertisements are very misleading, there are some puzzles that you can complete in the game to earn rewards.
That being said, solving puzzles is not the main way to progress in the game. Instead, you have to complete nodes, vanquish enemies, upgrade your Heroes and expand your roster.
One of the puzzles that you can complete in the game require that you move different pins to obtain the treasure or save the princess.
Before moving any pins, we recommend that you carefully consider all the aspects in the puzzle. Your hero could be killed if you move a certain pin, or you may lose the treasure by letting lava fall into it.
Some items, such as a Barrel ,can be moved to help you solve the puzzle. After solving the puzzle, you may receive a reward which can help you advance in the game.
How to obtain new Heroes
To ensure that you are able to defeat all enemies in Hero Wars, you have to obtain new Heroes regularly. On the game’s main screen, you will find the Soul Atrium in the center of the Strongford.
Players can summon new Heroes from the Soul Atrium by using Soul Crystals or Emeralds.
You can either use a single Soul Crystal to summon 1 Hero, or perform a mass summon, which requires 10 Soul Crystals or 1500 Emeralds. The mass summon guarantees at least one reward of higher than normal rarity.
All players will receive a Soul Crystal on a daily basis, but you should keep in mind that you can only collect and store up to 365 Crystals at a time.
Pin-pulling games
Several gamers were disappointed to find that the main objective of Hero Wars is not to solve puzzles by pulling pins.
These gamers therefore stopped playing the game as it was not the game that advertisements portrayed it to be.
