There have been many infamous world bosses in WoW history, and players now have the opportunity to defeat some of them.
World of Warcraft is a very popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that takes place in the Warcraft fantasy universe.
Similarly to other role-playing titles, you can control a character in the WoW world to explore different regions, fight monsters and interact with other players around the globe.
WoW was released by Blizzard in 2004, and since then, it has had 8 major expansion packs which introduced new content to the game. The ninth expansion, Dragonflight, is set for release on 28 November 2022.
To celebrate the game’s 18th Anniversary, Blizzard is hosting a special in-game event. During the WoW Anniversary 2022 event, gamers can attempt to defeat several world bosses.
WoW 18th Anniversary event
The anniversary is taking place over the course of a few weeks. If you log into Shadowlands between 6 November 2022 and 27 November 2022, you will receive the WoW 18th Anniversary achievement, which comes with several rewards.
Players can check their in-game mail to claim a gift package, which contains numerous items. In the event, you have to earn Timewarped Badges in order to purchase unique items from a new vendor; Historian Ma’di.
After the event, these items will allegedly be removed from WoW and will never return, thus, it is advised that you purchase the items you are interested in before the event concludes.
WoW: Anniversary 2022 World Bosses
The WoW Anniversary 2022 event is the perfect instance of old meets new as it brings back some of the game’s classic world bosses.
There have been many infamous monsters and horrific foes in WoW’s history, but Blizzard has unlocked the vaults and let some of the most iconic bosses come forth to cause chaos once more.
If you have a character that is level 30 or higher, you can challenge Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, and 1 of the 4 Dragons of Nightmare daily. Players can also defeat the Doomwalker, however, it is a weekly quest.
By defeating the bosses daily, you will be rewarded with Timewarped Badges and gear pieces. Moreover, the Doomwalker grants you Timewarped Badges and the opportunity to collect the Illidari Doomhawk mount and a Doomwalker trophy stand.
New weapons and armour can also to drop when you defeat the bosses of Azeroth’s past. The table outlines some of the new weapons and armour that you can obtain:

Each boss drops items and loot on level 272, many of which are iconic items from their respective expansions, and therefore, the items also have semi-unique appearances. This makes them sought-after by collectors, even more so than for catch-up gear.
Bosses’ skills and abilities
Every boss that you fight during the Anniversary 2022 event has unique skills and abilities. The table below lists some of the abilities that you may encounter during a fight:

Where to find Doomwalker
As mentioned previously , you can defeat Doomwalker for a weekly quest, however, you can attempt to defeat him every day in the event for loot. Doomwalker can be found in Tanaris at the entrance to the Caverns of Time.
Players can go to their faction portal room and go through the Caverns of Time Portal to find Doomwalker. Bear in mind that you have to be level 30 or higher to reach this boss.
You should talk to Chromie and return to the present timeline before you face Doomwalker.
Can the bosses only be looted once a day per account?
Several WoW players have more than 1 character, and many have wondered if the loot they get from the bosses are account-wide. Fortunately, you are eligible for daily loot for each character, meaning that you can defeat the bosses on all your characters every day.
Keep in mind that the loot is randomly generated, which means that there is no guarantee that you will get the same loot for all your characters.
