WoW: Secrets of Azeroth Day 8

On day 8 of WoW’s Secrets of Azeroth event, players  must find the mold of an ancient key, and upon completion, you will progress to the Whodunnit achievement.

You can venture back into time to push back the encroaching chase from other timelines in this adventurous video game, World of Warcraft (WoW).

In addition to following the main storylines, players can participate in numerous in-game events.

One of the events you can enjoy is Secrets of Azeroth, but some players are confused about what they need to do for day 8 of the event.

Secrets of Azeroth

WoW’s developer, Blizzard, regularly introduces new events. They recently released the Secrets of Azeroth event, which invites players to solve a range of clues to help the Preservationists find the bad guy who is responsible for a series of heists.

You have to gather secrets, collect rumors and play ‘follow the leader’ with participating community creators to figure out who is behind these heists, in which rare artifacts were stolen.

Unfortunately, this event is not an annual holiday, but Blizzard has mentioned that there may yet be additional secrets to uncover.

WoW: Secrets of Azeroth Day 8

The first clue for the Secrets of Azeroth event was released on Thursday, 31 August 2023. Since then, players had to solve numerous clues daily to find who, or what, stole the rare artifacts.

Since the event’s launch, there have been 8 clues to solve. Additional clues will be released as the event progresses.

To pick up the 8th clue, players must travel to the Inn in Valdrakken. In the Roasted Ram, you will find Preservationist, Kathos and you can speak to her to accept the A Key Story quest.

This quest reveals that a weaponsmith by the name of Koref spoke with Tithris about an ancient key.

Koref is now headed to the Obsidian Enclave and the quest requires that you speak to him about the ancient key.

While talking to Koref, he reveals that the molds for the large keys have been lost for ages, however, Tithris has allegedly found a book which he believes leads to the mold.

Koref mentioned that the text is not straightforward, and he is terrible at reading between the lines. He then gives you the task of deciphering the text and as a reward, he will craft the ancient key for you.

Players are then tasked with seeking out a palace where a weaponsmith may have worked in Cloverwood Hallow, which is deep in the sylvan glade.

You have to take a beaten path to find a very large and ruined building in which you will find a few people sitting around with few words to speak.

How to find the mold

Once you are at the large and ruined building, you have to use your Torch of Pyrreth, the Idol of Ohuna as well as the Tricked Out Thinking Cap. to progress in the quest.

The Torch will guide you to your first tablet to decipher, which will tell you where the mold is. After reading the tablet, you will receive coordinates which you have to locate.

You should then equip the Thinking Cap and walk to the coordinates. The coordinates take you to the South Western pillar of the Glade, where you will find the Titan Key Mold. You then have to take the mold to Koref to craft the ancient key.
