Destiny 2 players can redeem the M:\>Start Emblem Code to celebrate the arrival of Bungie’s new video game, Marathon.
You can take on the role of a powerful Guardian in this adventurous video game, Destiny 2, in which It is your responsibility to protect the planet’s last safe city from an intergalactic threat.
Although most of the content can only be discovered in the game, you can acquire Emblem codes from official sources. One of the emblems that you can acquire is M:\>Start.
What are Emblems?
Emblems are essentially collectible icons and backgrounds for player nameplates. Other Guardians will be able to see your Emblems during loading screens, player roster listings and after completing Crucible matches.
Players can use Emblems to customize their characters. You can purchase new Emblems from the vendor in the Tower, though some Emblems require a certain quantity of Legendary Marks or Glimmer.
You can also procure Emblems by completing specific activities or milestones.
You can acquire various emblems, such as gameplay emblems, seasonal emblems, class emblems and nightfall emblems, amongst others.
Destiny 2: Emblem M:\>Start
Emblems, along with your shader, sparrow, ship and Ghost, can be used to show off your Guardian’s personality.
You can procure Emblems as you advance in Destiny 2, but some Emblems are distributed periodically by the game’s developer, Bungie, as part of promotions.
One of the promotional Emblems that you can get is M:\>Start. Unlike some of the other Emblems, you cannot purchase the M:\>Start from the vendor, neither can you complete a specific activity or achievement to acquire it.
Instead, you have to log into your Bungie account by opening the official Bungie website.
Once you are logged in, click on your profile icon, which is located in the upper right corner of the screen. In the pop-up menu, you will discover a list of numerous options.
By selecting the “Redeem Codes” option, players will be able to enter the code for M:\>Start. The code you should use is : JND-HLR-L69. After clicking “Enter”, you can exit the website and start Destiny 2.
Players who entered the code will automatically receive the customization option. You can find the new item in your Destiny 2 collections by selecting the Flare category.
Keep in mind that you have to click on the “General” option to view and activate the item.
Why the M:\>Start emblem cannot be used
Although the M:\>Start emblem was released on Tuesday, 25 May 2023, players cannot activate it. This is because Bungie revealed that the emblem can only be used after the upcoming Destiny 2 update.
But although you cannot use the emblem, we recommend that you redeem it in the meantime.
Once it becomes active, you will be able to use it to customize your character. It is unclear whether the M:\>Start emblem is a temporary or permanent feature in Destiny 2. Thus, players should redeem the emblem code while it is available.
What does M:\>Start promote?
The M:\>Start emblem was released to promote Bungie’s latest video game, Marathon. The game was originally released in December 1994, but Bungie recently released a trailer that revolves around the Marathon remake.
Marathon is a player-versus-player (PvP) extraction shooter video game in which players can either play solo, or in a squad of 3 players.
One of the gaming modes in Marathon requires that Destiny 2 players procure gear and make it to an extraction point with as much as they can take with them. However you have to fight other players in the process.
Although the game will have a narrative, it does not have a player-versus-environment campaign or content, meaning that it is a full PvP experience.
Marathon will pay tribute to the 1994 version, but it is not considered a remake or a sequel in any capacity.
It is unclear when Marathon will officially be released, however, we recommend that you check Bungie’s official website for information regularly.
