Players can obtain the Achelois Scepter, which is used to summon an octopus underneath the city for 5 minutes, by logging into Evony for 7 days.
In this medieval mobile game, Evony: The King’s Return, players have to build their empire from scratch. This can be done by constructing buildings, training troops, harvesting resources and defeating enemies.
By logging into the game, you will be rewarded with an item. One of the login rewards is the Achelois Scepter.
Login event
In addition to the general login rewards, you can occasionally enjoy a login event. For the duration of the event, players will receive rewards when they log into the game for a certain number of days.
At the time of writing this, players can receive rewards for simply logging into Evony:

Evony: Achelois Scepter
Although you will receive the same rewards during the login event, some days offer players unique rewards. For example, by logging into Evony for 3 days, you will receive Blazing Flame, which you can use to gain a Blazing Flame Decoration.
When you have logged into Evony for 7 days, you will receive 5 Achelois Scepters. The description reads, “The evil scepter of Achelois. Use it to call an abyssal octopus under the city for 5 minutes.”
Simply put, you can use the Achelois Scepter to summon an octopus under your city for a specified duration.
However, you will also receive 5 Runestone Chests, 5 Refining Stones and 6 1-hour speedups. It us currently unknown what the octopus under the city does. Therefore, we cannot say whether it only serves as decoration or if you need to attack the octopus.
Since the octopus will only be active for 5 minutes, it is alleged that it only serves decorative purposes.
It is noteworthy that you will only receive this item when you have logged into Evony for 7 days, and it does not have to be consecutive days, but if you log in consecutively, you will receive more rewards.
This is because the login event is only active for a certain period of time. If you log in daily, your chances of receiving all the rewards are higher than when you only log into Evony every second or third day.
Where to claim the Achelois Scepter
Players should note that the login event’s rewards are not part of the regular login rewards. Therefore, you need to open the Event Center and select the “Login Event.”
In this new menu, you will be able to claim rewards for the number of days you have logged into the game.
For instance, if you logged into Evony for 4 days, you will be able to claim 4 days’ rewards. Players can either claim the rewards daily, or “stack” the rewards and claim all of them at once.
When does the Login event conclude?
The Login event is only active for a certain time period. At the moment of writing this, the event will remain active for another 6 days, which means that the event will conclude on Monday, 8 May 2023.
Players therefore only have 6 days to log into Evony and claim rewards. If you did not log into Evony at all, your chances of procuring the Achelois Scepter are fairly low, as you need to log into the game for 7 days to obtain it.
It is worth noting that the claimed rewards will not be removed from your inventory once the event concludes, but all the rewards that you did not claim will be removed.
Reward uses
There are several rewards that you can claim from the Login Event, each with a specific purpose in the game:
