One of the events you can enjoy in Evony is Golden Tree, which invites players to use Golden Bough Coins to earn rich rewards.
As the lord or lady of an empire in Evony: The King’s Return, you have to build a kingdom from the ground up.
To do this, you have to train troops, defeat enemies, attack other players, recruit Generals, harvest resources and construct buildings.
Golden Tree Rewards event
In addition to expanding your kingdom, you can participate in numerous events which are limited-time activities with unique objectives.
One of the events that you can enjoy is the Golden Tree, which will be removed from Evony in approximately 5 days.
This means that you have until Monday, 23 October 2023 to enjoy the event. For this event, you have to collect Golden Bough Coins to participate in the Golden Tree Rewards event.
When you use this new currency, you are guaranteed to win Gold every time, but there is a chance that you could win valuable prizes.
To obtain Golden Bough Coins, players must defeat monsters on the world map. However, you can only earn Golden Bough Coins from monster kills up to 5 times daily.
If you are interested in obtaining additional coins, you can purchase in-game packages with real money.
Once you have Golden Bough Coins, you can choose whether you want to water the tree, apply pest control or shake the tree’s trunk. It is worth noting that every activity requires a certain number of Golden Bough Coins.
To water the tree, you will use 1 Golden Bough Coin, while applying pest control requires 5 Golden Bough Coins. Players who are interested in shaking the tree’s trunk have to use 10 Golden Bough Coins.
Praise of the Golden Bough packages
Players who are interested in collecting additional Golden Bough Coins can purchase the Praise of the Golden Bough packages. However, these packages can only be bought with real money.

How does the Golden Tree rewards work?
Before you can perform an activity, you have to choose your desired grand prize. Once this is selected, you will not be able to switch to another grand prize.
After using a certain number of Coins, you can earn additional rewards. When the number reaches 100 and 200, Monarchs are guaranteed to get their chosen grand prize.
Players should note that each grand prize that they choose can only be won once and every additional reward can only be claimed once. However, you may continue to draw after you reach 200 draws.
Any remaining Golden Bough Coins will be converted into Golden Bough Chests at the end of the event. You can open the chest to get speedups, gold and resources, among other things.
Golden Tree Rewards
If you progress the bar in the Golden Tree menu, you will be able to open chests. The rewards that you will receive by opening a chest are outlined below:

Evony players should note that when they have progressed to 100 and 200, they will receive the reward that they selected at the beginning of the event.
For the grand prize for 100 points, you can choose between gold, tactic scrolls and refining stones, among other rewards.
Keep in mind that you will only be able to select the grand prize for 200 points once you have claimed the grand prize for 100 points.
Chance details
As previously explained, the Golden Bough Coins will be converted to Golden Bough Chests when the Golden Tree event concludes.
