Evony: How to get more Gold
Gold is not produced, and cannot be farmed by a specific Resource Field, instead there are numerous methods by which to acquire more.
You can set a specific tax rate for your keep, which will then provide you with Gold in relation to the population of your city.
You can win Gold by participating in the Wheel of Fortune, or by farming non-player characters for resources.
Furthermore, players can participate in the Battle of Constantinople (BoC) and the Battle of Gaugamela (BoG) to attain more Gold.
Players can also exchange Gems for Gold in their keep. The higher your keep’s level is, the more Gold you will receive from the exchange.
You will have some favourable rates in the first few exchanges, but the rates you encounter thereafter may be quite poor.
Alternatively, you can hunt and defeat the bosses that randomly spawns on the world map to acquire additional Gold.
Players can also receive Gold from the daily login reward system, however, they will have to log into the game every day to qualify for this reward.
The Battle of Constantinople and the Battle of Gaugamela
The Battle of Constantinople is a weekly event that all players who form part of an Alliance can join. In order to participate in this event, your Alliance must be at least 14 days old, and be in the top 10 Alliances.
Players need to be at least on level 15 and have to be a member of the Alliance for more than 3 days to take part in the event.
Your Alliance leader will select players to participate in the battle. Even if you lose, you will earn at least 4 million Gold every time.
The Battle of Gaugamela, on the other hand, only takes place on a Wednesday and is not as profitable. This is because you may only receive 2 million Gold during the event.
Bosses
There are varying types of bosses in the game, each of which will randomly spawn on tiles on the map. The following table highlights some of the monsters you could find with a description each:
Monster | Description |
Goblins |
They are regular enemies whose primary purpose is to let you farm Gold. You can attain up to 600 000 Gold with a double drop ring equipped. |

Vikings |
The manageable Viking levels can reward you with more than 2.5 million Gold, however, the Alliance Rallies can give you up to 100 million Gold. |
