During Evony’s Huns Invasion, you can team up with other Monarchs to complete 10 stages, each of which consists of powerful enemies that you have to conquer.
Evony players can now participate in an annual event known as Huns Invasion. It consists of 5 difficulty levels, each of which requires a specific keep level and power to join.
You can only enter the Battlefield 3 times per day, but you can purchase additional chances for 5000 Gems.
Monarchs can either create a team with their friends and Alliance Members, or they can join a random team via the auto match feature.
If you select the auto match feature, you need to be ready for battle in 30 seconds or you will be kicked.
Once the match begins, you will have to progress through 10 unique stages, each of which requires that you defeat enemies.
You will generally have to vanquish a mixed army which comprises troop types that you can train, but at stages 6 and 10, the army is led by a powerful General.
It is worth noting that enemies can only be attacked by using the rally function. You can choose the rally time for free when players are ready.
Keep in mind though that you only have 5 minutes to complete each stage in the event and your troops cannot be healed on the Battlefield.
Once you have cleared a stage, you can select 1 of 3 buffs that will help you destroy enemies in the following stages.
Stages
Every stage in the event has a minimum keep level and power requirement. If you do not meet these requirements, you will not be able to participate in the event:

Ancestral Chests
If you defeat the enemies, you will receive various rewards, one of which is Ancestral Chests. You can open this chest to receive a Rune Word and if you equip it, you will receive a Battlefield Buff.
There are multiple Runes that you can receive, however, each Rune has a specific drop rate.
This essentially means that there is no guarantee that you will receive a powerful Rune if you open a Chest. That being said, you can upgrade your Rune Words to enhance their effects.
Upgrading a Rune Word
Once you have equipped a Rune Word, you can upgrade it to get stronger buffs. Monarchs have to acquire Primordial Crystals in order to upgrade a Rune.
According to the in-game description, you need 500 Crystals to upgrade a single Rune.
Evony players can earn Primordial Crystals by opening Ancestral Chests. This means that you have to progress in the Battlefield to earn chests and Crystals.
