One of the Generals that you can acquire in Evony: The King’s Return is Huo Qubing, and he is best used for defeating monsters on the world map
Evony: The King’s Return is a thrilling mobile game in which you can assume the role of a lord or lady in medieval times.
It is your responsibility to build an empire from scratch, recruit Generals, train troops, and defeat enemies. One of the Generals that you can recruit is Huo Qubing, who is a distinguished military general of the Western Han dynasty.
General rarities
Although Generals are seemingly a simple feature of the game, they are a key component in your gameplay. This is because you use Generals in everything you do including researching, harvesting resources, defeating monsters, and attacking other players.
It is important to note that there are different General rarities. The rarer a General is, the better he or she is at their task.
You can determine a General’s rarity by looking at the colour of their portrait’s border. A blue border indicates a Rare General, while a Purple border indicates an Uncommon Non-Historic General.
Common Generals have a green border and Historic Generals have a purple or gold border. Generals with a purple or gold border are regarded as the best in Evony.
Evony: Huo Qubing
Huo Qubing is a distinguished military general of the Western Han dynasty. Since he specializes in monster hunting, it is advisable that you use him to lead your troops when you are defeating a monster on the world map.
Similarly to other Generals in Evony, Qubing has several skills that aid him on the battlefield. His special skill, Khentii Worship, is always active and requires no development. This skill reduces troop marching time by 20 percent when he is leading the army.
Additionally, Qubing has the following skills:
Skill name | Effect |
Mounted troop Assault |
|
Strike |
|
Unparalleled Leader |
|
Battle of Mobei |
|
Unfortunately, these skills cannot be changed. However, players can enhance Qubing to unlock additional skills and buffs. Enhancement is the process by which you can increase a General’s Star level. This process requires gold and medals.
The table below lists the buffs Qubing receives for every star level:
Star level | Buffs |

Qubing’s statistics
Qubing has several statistics that can affect your gameplay. His base and growth statistics are as follows:
Statistic | Base | Growth rate |
Leadership | 101 | 8.25 percent |
Attack | 120 | 8.73 percent |
Defence | 103 | 8.54 percent |
Politics | 95 | 8.36 percent |
Every time you increase Qubing’s level, his statistics increase. The amount it increases by is equivalent to the growth rate.
Players can increase Qubing’s level by using him to kill enemy troops and monsters on the world map. You can also attack sub-cities and use General Experience Point items to increase his level.
Upgrading Qubing
There are several methods for upgrading Qubing, however, it is advisable that you first focus on increasing his level. Players can cultivate Qubing to increase his statistics, however, this process requires gems and gold.
Every statistic can be increased by an additional 500 points through this process. Enhancing on the other hand increases Qubing’s star level. This process unlocks new skills and buffs, though it requires gold and medals.
If you upgrade Qubing, he will become more powerful, meaning that he will become more efficient in his tasks.
