One of the monsters that you can defeat on the Evony world map is Pan, who yields rich rewards. However, you can receive additional rewards if you reach top leaderboard positions during the Pan Trials event.
Who is Pan?
Under normal circumstances, Pan is a ranged enemy, which means that ground troops have a battle advantage over this boss.
However, during the Pan Trials event, Pan’s troop type changes regularly. This means that Pan could spawn as a ground, ranged, or mounted boss.
If you come across a Pan on the world map, you should check which troop type it is before sending out your troops. Moreover, you must select a General that specializes in that troop type if you want to defeat Pan.
Players should note that Pan is a powerful boss monster and therefore, it is advisable that you commence an Alliance Rally to defeat it.
Evony: Pan Rewards
When you discover a Pan monster on the boss, you will be able to defeat it. However, the boss is quite powerful, thus, you need a strong army and General to defeat it. Once it is defeated, you will get several rewards.

It is vital that you know what troop type Pan is before you attack. If you send the wrong troop type into battle, you will lose.
Evony recently announced that a new event, Pan Trials, has been added to the game. To participate in this event, you have to defeat Pan, though Pan’s troop type and level differs.
Players will be rewarded with points for defeating Pan. The Alliance with the most points at the end of the event earns several rewards.
It is noteworthy that the number of points you receive is determined by the level of Pan that you defeat. The higher Pan’s level is, the more points you will gain, however, higher level Pan is quite difficult to defeat.

When do the Pan Trials conclude?
Pan’s Trials conclude on Saturday, 18 February 2023. This gives players a lot of time to improve their position on the leaderboard. You will only receive your rewards through the in-game mail once the event ends.
To increase your position on the Evony leaderboard, you have to acquire more points. Defeating a level 1 Pan will reward you with 1 point, while a level 5 Pan will give you 100 points.
Bear in mind that a level 5 Pan is quite difficult to defeat, so you should not attempt it alone.
Which troops should you send into battle?
During the event, Pan’s troop type and level changes regularly. If he is a ground unit, you have to send mounted troops into battle. But if he is a ranged unit, you have to send ground troops, and players have to send ranged troops if Pan is a mounted unit.
If you send the correct units, you may have a chance at defeating Pan easily. However, you will be unsuccessful if you send the incorrect units into battle.
