Evony: Pan trials

Evony: The King’s Return players can defeat a new monster during the Pan Trials to earn rich rewards, which can affect their gameplay significantly.

Evony: The King’s Return is an adventurous video game in which you can construct an empire from the ground up.

As a lord or lady during medieval times, you have to build buildings, defeat enemies, harvest resources, and attack other players. However, there are numerous events that you can participate in, such as Pan Trials.

What is the objective of events?

An in-game event allows gamers to enjoy Evony in a new, exciting way for a limited time. When an event is active, you have to complete specific tasks or objectives to earn valuable rewards.

Bear in mind that these rewards can sometimes only be acquired during that event, so it is essential that you attempt to participate in every event.

The purpose of an in-game event is to motivate players to actively enjoy Evony. Moreover, they sometimes motivate players to open and play a game that they may have been neglecting for some time previously.

Evony: Pan trials

Evony recently added a new monster to the world map: Pan. To celebrate the arrival of a new monster, Evony players can enjoy the Pan Trials event. The event will commence in the game on Saturday, 28 January 2023.

Evony: Pan trials

While it is active, players can kill Pan on the world map to get amazing rewards and scores. The score you get is determined by the level of Pan that you defeat. The following table lists the number of points you will receive:

Pan level Amount of scores
1 1 score
2 5 scores
3 25 scores
4 50 scores
5 100 scores

The score ranking resets daily, but the top 10 Alliances will receive ranking rewards. That being said, once the event starts, any player who quits or joins an Alliance will lose the ranking reward(s) of that day.

If the attack on Pan was an Alliance rally, only the rally initiator will receive the scores. When 2 or more Alliances have the same score amount, whoever reaches the amount first will rank number 1 on the leaderboard.

Your position on the leaderboard determines your rewards. The rewards that you will receive according to your position are as follows:

Which troops should you use to defeat Pan?

Allegedly, Pan’s type changes at a regular time. You can send different types of troops based on Pan’s type at the time.

To determine Pan’s type, you can select it on the world map. In its profile, you will see what type of unit it is, and you can then send your troops accordingly.

You have to know the advantages and disadvantages of each troop type before you can try to defeat Pan. If you send the wrong troop type, you will lose the battle. If you send the correct troop type, though, you can successfully defeat Pan.

Troop advantages and disadvantages

There are 4 troop types in Evony, each of which have advantages and disadvantages. The table below discusses every troop type’s advantages and disadvantages:

Troop type Description
Siege Machines They deal huge amounts of damage from a distance. They are strong against every troop type, but they are expensive to build.
Ground troops Due to their high defence and health points, they have an advantage over range troops. However, they are vulnerable to mounted troops.
Ranged troops They are highly effective against mounted troops. But they struggle to defeat ground troops.
Mounted troops They can defeat ground troops easily, but they are vulnerable to ranged troops.
