The Duel Target fights in MCoC allows players to practice strategies, attack combos and evading techniques without the fear of losing their win streak.
In Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC) you can collect the mightiest superheroes and supervillains as you journey through an exciting storyline.
Players must fight a huge array of heroes and villains in iconic locations spanning the Marvel Universe, including The Kyln, Wakanda, Asgard, Avengers Tower and the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, among others.
Duel Target
One key aspect of MCoC is that players go head-to-head against various AI-controlled opponents to hone their skills and earn rich rewards. There are various game modes and activities to enjoy in the game, one of which is Duel Targets.
This mode essentially serves as practice for players to test their abilities, practice combos and refine their fighting techniques. The targets that you have to defeat are AI-controlled and they simulate real player behavior.
This gives you a chance to experiment without the fear of losing your win streak in Arena matches or in the Alliance War.
There are different Duel Targets that you can enjoy, however, you can follow a specific strategy to ensure that you are successful in the fight.
Before beginning the fight, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with your opponent’s abilities, strengths and weaknesses.
This knowledge will help players formulate a winning strategy and make informed decisions while fighting.
Furthermore, we recommend that you master parry and evading techniques, so you should practice these skills regularly against Duel Targets.
This will enhance your defensive capabilities and minimize the damage that your characters take.
You should also experiment with different attack combos and practice launching specials against Duel Target to perfect your timing.

We recommend that you pay attention to moments where you could have dodged, countered or executed a more effective combo.
Once you have reviewed the fight replay, you can start the fight again and practice in the areas that you noticed need improvement.
