Since the Black Knight’s release in MSF, players have been curious about what the best ISO-8 class is for him to enhance his capabilities in Alliance War.
Scopely recently announced that players are able to acquire the Black Knight in Marvel Strike Force (MSF).
Thrown forward in time, the Black Knight has arrived to bring the legendary Ebony Blade to bear against opponents that attack him or his allies.
Since his release in MSF, several players have wondered what the best ISO-8 class is for him. Since there are several ISO-8 classes to pick from, it can be difficult to figure out which class will enhance his abilities.
Before selecting an ISO-8 class for Black Knight, we recommend that you consider his abilities, which can be used to vanquish his opponents.
His abilities indicate that he is a powerful protector that can benefit from staying alive as long as possible.

The Fortifier class will allow the Black Knight to have a lot of Barrier which will help him stay alive, especially until he has more Yellow and Red stars. Once you have upgraded him to a few Red or Yellow stars, you can consider the Striker class.
This is a great option, as his follow-up attacks would always deal Piercing damage and he always adds some bonus damage which is the equivalent of the bonus Armor he gains.
We therefore recommend that you assign the Fortifier ISO-8 class to the Black Knight until you have upgraded his tier.
Once he has a few Red and Yellow stars, you can change his ISO-8 class to Striker to improve his capabilities.
Black Knight’s abilities
In order to assign the correct ISO-8 class to the Black Knight, we recommend that you consider his abilities:
Name | Description |
Flesh Wound
|
|
None Shall Pass |
|
‘Tis but a Slash |
|
Merlin’s Champion |

Black Knight’s team
As seen in the table, Black Knight provides benefits to his Out of Time allies. This team essentially comprises Cosmic Ghost Rider, Starbrand, Captain Carter and Captain America (WWII).
Similarly to the Black Knight, each of the Out of Time members must be assigned to a specific ISO-8 class:
Character | Recommended ISO-8 class |
Cosmic Ghost Rider | When paired with his Out of Time allies, he benefits the most from the Raider class. |
Starbrand | Since he can hit multiple targets with each of his abilities, Raider is a good option for him. However, you can also consider the Striker and Skirmisher classes. |
Captain America (WWII) | He can benefit from various ISO-8 classes and therefore, we recommend that you experiment with Skirmisher, Healer and Striker. |
Captain Carter | Striker seems to be the best option for her as it will increase the amount of damage she deals. |

For what should you use the Out of Time team
The update that introduced the Out of Time team revealed that this versatile time-displaced squad is composed of Alliance War specialists and they are capable of taking down the biggest threats on Helicarriers.
Although this team specializes in the Alliance War activity, you are still able to use them in the various other activities and modes in MSF.
