MSF: CC Season 5

Season 5 of Cosmic Crucible in MSF commenced on Monday, 6 November 2023 and it introduced new rules and effects.

Marvel Strike Force (MSF) is an action-packed mobile game that takes place in the Marvel Universe. You have to form a squad of powerful superheroes and supervillains to prevent an assault on Earth.

CC Season 5

MSF’s developer, Scopely, regularly updates the game to ensure that players have the best gaming experience.

On Saturday, 4 November 2023, Scopely announced that players have to ready their forces for judgment because the Living Tribunal is preparing for the upcoming season of Cosmic Crucible.

Season 5 of Cosmic Crucible commenced on Monday, 6 November 2023 and it introduced new Stage Rules to test the strength of your roster.

The new season also introduced new rewards, including the new Diamond resource, for those who are strong enough to tip the scales toward victory.

Allegedly, the new set of Stage Rules and an Exhausted effect has been passed down from the Alliance War mode.

Exhausted will function quite similarly to how it does in War, which means that after every attack, the defending characters will get a 20% decrease of their primary statistics.

Players should note that the Exhausted Effect stack, so after 2 failed attempts, the defending opponents will have their statistic decreased by 40%. This will essentially minimize the situations where players cannot complete any stage.

Season 5 introduces new stage rules and although some of them will look familiar, all of them feature a slight twist.

Not only will you have to follow new rules, but you also have to play with the new Superior Six team and the reworked Sinister Six team.

Rewards and Crucible Store

MSF players should remember that Quicksilver character shards will be leaving the weekly rewards for the Crucible Store weekly.

You will then be able to purchase his shards using Elite Crucible Credits. The reward replacing Quicksilver shards in weekly rewards will be determined by your ranking.

This means that you will be able to procure either Elite 6, Elite 7 or Diamond Orb Fragments. According to the announcement, they will also be increasing the number of Elite Crucible Credits and Crucible Credits included in the weekly rewards.

For the Seasonal Cosmic Crucible Rewards, you can expect an increased Elite Crucible Credit payout, along with Dark Diamond Credits across all Leagues.

Scopely will also be adding 2 additional character shard slots to the Crucible Store. There are 3 characters that will be rotating in the 2 additional character shard slots.
