Scopely recently introduced several new tiers to MSF’s Gold Rush Challenge for players to complete to earn valuable rewards
On Friday, 12 January 2024 Marvel Strike Force’s developer announced that if players are looking for more Gold to help increase character levels, they can participate in a new Gold Rush challenge.
This recent update also introduced additional Tiers for the Gold Rush challenge.
The Gold Rush challenge essentially awards players with a fixed amount of Gold and Gold Orb Fragments, but it is only available on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Unlike other game modes in MSF, you can only use City Characters to complete the Gold Rush Challenge.
This means that new players are likely to use Defender characters and although you will be able to complete the first few tiers with Defenders, stronger characters are required to complete the higher tiers.
Even Although there are numerous City characters that you can use to progress through Gold Rush’s tiers, some characters will clear the challenges faster than others.
We therefore recommend that you use the following characters when you have collected them:
- Anti-Venom (White Tiger if Moon Knight is in a team)
- Scream
- Venom (Moon Knight if Anti-Venom is not available)
- Carnage
- Spider-Man (Symbiote)
In addition to only using City characters, every tier has some recommendations to ensure that you complete the tier successfully.
Although it is not mandatory to use the recommendations, they will help you earn as much gold as possible to purchase supplies and improve your characters.
Once you have acquired enough Gold, you can open your character collection and select the character that you want to rank up.
Players have to click on the “Rank Up” option which can be found in the bottom right corner of the screen to complete the process.
Recommendations
Every Tier in the Gold Rush Challenge has specific recommendations that will ensure that you complete the level successfully.
The table below lists some of the recommendations that you will encounter:

Tier 15
As you progress through the Gold Rush Tiers, you will reach tier 15, however, to complete this level, your squad has to be level 85 or higher with at least tier 16 equipped. Furthermore, your Red Stars have to be 5 or higher.
If you complete this tier, you will receive 240 000 Gold and 750 Gold Orb Fragments. Similarly to other tiers, Tier 15 requires that you defeat specific characters to earn the rewards:

This Tier has a total health of 18 720 235 and a total power of 2 881 353, which means that your Squad has to be incredibly powerful to defeat the above-mentioned heroes.
Tier 16
Once you have successfully completed Tier 15, gamers will be able to move on to Tier 16, which has a total power of 3 600 666 and a total health of 25 699 666.
Keep in mind, though, that your squad has to be at least level 90 with Gear Tier 17 and 6 Red Stars to successfully complete this tier.
In order to get 260 000 Gold and 800 Gold Orb Fragments, you have to vanquish the following enemies:

Tier 17
Before you can attempt Tier 17, your squad has to be at least level 100 or higher. Furthermore, you need Gear Tier 18 with 7 Red Stars.
If you meet these recommendations, you will have to destroy enemies with a total power of 7 170 097 and a total health of 53 961 992:
